  1. what? He inherited the longest bull run in history.
  2. When you're the worst president in US history, the good thing is you don't have a comparable floor. He walked in with a booming economy and burned the whole thing to the ground, just like every other republican in my lifetime.
  3. This whole thread is aging about as gracefully as Drumpfs comb-over. The fact that there are still people supporting that traitorous ass-clown in here should be a little more surprising than it actually is. We really don't deserve to make it out of this thing as a species.
  4. Anything to try to deflect an ounce of accountability. I guess after 4 years of the same show, I get bored.
  5. When you cite the blaze, it removes all need to have further discussion. Why does anyone like to get information from such overtly biased sensational sources?
  6. Pretty big overpay for a guy that should be a solid backup.
  7. His knee was a career ending injury, he just hasn't admitted it yet. He went from the most dominating back in the league to an incredibly pedestrian, dime a dozen backup overnight. Give me an undrafted FA instead It's really sad, but at least he got paid.
  8. I like lawson, but he;s a 3rd/4th de on a decent team. Not paying a penny over 5.5M/year. He's completely replaceable. Couldn't even take Murphy's job.
  9. it's just as obvious now as it was then.
  10. Mario Addison is the obligatory add here.
  11. Like I said, dealer's choice.
  12. Nope, I said Peterman outplayed Allen in pre-season - which he did. You're one of the many kids around here that has trouble with reading comprehension. Sorry, I can't fix that for you. I'll let you pick the stat to show Allen was the better QB yesterday.
  13. This is completely opposed to what actually happened. Allen had all day to throw. The line was borderline elite with how much time they gave him on all but a couple of plays. Maybe it looks like it because he holds the ball longer than any QB in the league. That's the privilege you get when a line gives you time.
  14. No other player on the roster could have even been in the position he was in to make that play. Maybe if he had been active the last 3 months, he would have caught it.
  15. That's absolutely the case. Have you ever head the phrases, "you could call holding on every play." or "the refs are letting them play/battle" That's exactly what that is. I'm sure there will be a change to the rulebook that clearly indicates "if a runner gives himself up" to solve it for next time, but I'll gladly take that and the loss over some tuckrule nonsense that gets us a win that the team didn't earn.
  16. Allen holds the ball the longest in the NFL and he had a clean jersey until his brain melted int he 4th. Until the end of the game, the time they were giving him was insane. He had all day back there.
  17. I think they did review it (in a sense), if those guys that ran on the field were from the league, which it looked like to me. My guess is that the Ref was about to call that a foul and the league stepped in so that another playoff game wasn't decided by controversy. The whole reason we have review-able PI now is because of the fallout from last year's Saints/Vikings. They opted to go in favor of the spirit of the rule, rather than the letter, and that's the way it should be. Otherwise, the game becomes unwatchable.
  18. You can take his 69.5 QBR from yesterday and stare at his poster on your wall. I prefer Watson's 121.2 The kid sucks.
  19. According to the Ref, it was going to be an illegal forward pass. It would have been a safety, not a Touchdown. https://www.buffalorumblings.com/2020/1/5/21050351/should-the-bills-have-been-awarded-a-touchdown-on-second-half-kickoff-houston-texans
  20. They're saying Allen struggled, not Watson.
  21. Those three are likely Top 5 all time, with maybe only Brees slightly outside of that. It's pure ridiculousness that they existed at the same time, so no I don't think we'll soon see their likes again, but you'll continue to have tons of guys in the Wilson, Roethlisberger, Rivers, Eli, Stafford, Ryan range that keep the league full of star talent.
  22. He may be smart off the field, but a lot of the time he plays the game like a big dumb animal.
