  1. I've seen this movie too many times. Yes, McDermott lead the team that broke the curse, and he'll always hold a place in Bills history for that. However, you can't just rest on that. Both times we did it stacking wins against inferior competition, and this year so far is shaping up to be much of the same. If we keep getting blown out by anyone that's an actual championship contender, then we aren't contenders - we're pretenders. You shouldn't get praise for that just because you're in Buffalo.
  2. Man, how brutal is it that the Chiefs get to add a weapon of this caliber. I know they dropped one to the Raiders, but if Bell is half the player he was with Pittsburgh, pencil them in to repeat.
  3. Can we hope in the way back machine and make this trade 8 years ago? We already have a bunch of over the hill underperformers.
  4. I think Addison has been our best player in the front 7. I'm more concerned about guys that were already on our roster who were were planning on being major contributors like Oliver, Edmunds, and Phillips. At this point, I'm declining Edmunds 5th year option and unless the light goes on real soon for Oliver, I think next year it would be the same thing. On top of that, Jerry Hughes and Murphy aren't getting it done at all. I'd rather give those snaps to Darryl Johnson and see if the kid can do something.
  5. This second video is typical Edmunds. Waiting for the play to come to him until he gets engaged by a blocker and is subsequently caught in the garbage.
  6. Edmunds is a significant weak link on this team. I know he's "only 22" and 3 years from now he'll be "only 25" or whatever, but I don't think he's a very good linebacker. He's an athletic freak capable of outstanding plays no doubt, but he has terrible instincts and doesn't have any ability to disengage blocks. At his current level of play, I see him as far more of a liability than any sort of asset and I'm looking to address the position early in the draft, if possible.
  7. It's extremely common for NFL rookies to have trouble keeping weight on, though I'd say that with the lack of a traditional offseason, it's more likely this is intentional to try to be a faster player.
  8. This is what I was looking for. He can't really double dip then. Thank you.
  9. Not sure what "Madden" has to do with it. In Madden, if you're paying top dollar for anything, you're doing it wrong. Everyone is just assuming it's vet minimum because it technically can be, I was just looking to see if that was the only deal he was allowed to get.
  10. Even though the jets are on the hook for $6M, why wouldn't he go after say $10M for the rest of the year - 6 million of which the jets would be responsible for. I admit, I'm not exactly sure if that's the way these mid season deals work on released players with owed salary.
  11. Is it guaranteed he gets vet minimum? Why couldn't he double dip on a full value deal?
  12. A guy like Bell could be the final piece to this offense. Bell is a 2000 yards from scrimmage player, and Singletary, as a #2, could be devastating. Unfortunately, our defense is so poor, I wonder if resources wouldn't be better spent trying to acquire a pass rusher. I think we may regret not going after Snacks too.

  14. Except all of the places that offer a better opportunity? The USA is #1 in nothing besides ignorance, obesity, cost of healthcare, and secondary education costs. https://www.cato.org/human-freedom-index-new Over 2x the amount of people immigrate to the EU (2.4m - Pop 480M) compared to the USA (1.18M pop 330M) https://ec.europa.eu/eurostat/statistics-explained/index.php/Migration_and_migrant_population_statistics Try making an argument that isn't based around hyperbole or outright lies.
  15. I do. I do. I do I would venture that the overwhelming majority of people that aren't billionaires were drastically better off in 2016 than they are today. The economy was in much better shape and there wasn't a virus killing more Americans than 71 9/11s. I would very much prefer to erase the last 4 years from human history and return to a better time.
  16. Some people even refer to it as a shithole.
  17. In America? Considerably.
  18. The dolphins would be wise to stick with Fitzpatrick, regardless of how Tua does.
  19. We could go after Yannick Ngakoue again, subletting the rental Minny got earlier this year.
  20. Hoax? Pretty impressive to have all your rich white friends in jail and get impeached over a hoax.
  21. The jets will win some games once Gase is fired.
  22. You're deranged. You puppets will scream that the grass is blue and the sky is green all day to support your east coast elite orange god. President Donald Trump’s order to his secretary of state to declassify thousands of Hillary Clinton’s emails, along with his insistence that his attorney general issue indictments against Barack Obama and Joe Biden, takes his presidency into new territory — until now, occupied by leaders with names like Putin, Xi and Erdogan. Trump has long demanded — quite publicly, often on Twitter — that his most senior cabinet members use the power of their office to pursue political enemies. But his appeals this week, as he trailed badly in the polls and was desperate to turn the national conversation away from the coronavirus, were so blatant that one had to look to authoritarian nations to make comparisons. He took a step even Richard Nixon avoided in his most desperate days: openly ordering direct immediate government action against specific opponents, timed to serve his reelection campaign. https://news.yahoo.com/taking-page-authoritarians-trump-turns-151748832.html
