The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19

I think this was discussed a few pages back. Twitter is now a publisher (vs platform) full of medical experts. -
Kodak to add 300 Rochester jobs to make drug ingredients, WSJ says Eastman Kodak Co. has received a $765 million government loan to help expedite the domestic production of drugs to treat a variety of medical conditions and loosen the country's reliance on foreign sources, according to The Wall Street Journal. The move is expected to create approximately 300 jobs in Rochester and up to 50 jobs in Minnesota, Kodak chairman and chief executive officer Jim Continenza told the Journal. </snip>

Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity? I must admit, I cannot rule that out.

They DID do something about it. They kept people locked down. Knowing the end results.

What makes you think that there weren't politicians that had the data that exactly this would happen if we remained on lock down for an extended period of time?

2020 Election is officially Trump vs Biden

Sooooooo twitter suppressing or advocating their trends by manipulation (maybe you missed their hack where the panels were shown) is ok for a platform? It would sorta make them a publisher, not a platform. They would be a violation of code 230. "Illegal?" Maybe, maybe not. I am not an attorney and do not play one on the internet. However, twitter keeps pushing and pushing to lose their 230 protections. Couldn't happen to a nicer publisher. ? -
Pent up demand still is my guess. ? This had expectations at 7%, every other article I read had the expectations at 6.5%. ?♂️ I chose this article because it wasn't "yeah but we are all gonna diiiiiiiiiieeeeee" as an intro. Durable-goods orders climb 7.3% in June as auto maker surge offsets Boeing weakness The numbers: Orders for durable goods lasting at least three years rose strongly in June for the second straight month after historic declines in the early spring, but the momentum might be hard to sustain in the wake of more coronavirus cases and somewhat tighter government restrictions. Orders climbed 7.3% last month, the government said Monday. Wall Street economists had expected a 7% increase. </snip>

Notre Dame withdraws from hosting first Trump-Biden debate The debate is being moved from Indiana to Cleveland amid coronavirus health concerns </snip> Notre Dame, which is located in South Bend, Indiana, withdrew due to health concerns of holding a presidential debate amid health concerns over large in-person gatherings amid coronavirus pandemic, the school said. After conferring with public health officials, the school’s president, Rev. John Jenkins, made what he called “this difficult decision because the necessary health precautions would have greatly diminished the educational value of hosting the debate on our campus.” </snip>
