  1. I posted the new poll numbers for President Trump in a different thread - 52% according to Rasmussen. The internals will be closer to the truth, and much higher. Makes me wonder if this will change anything this week in negotiations? The whispers after the SOTU speech were the D internal numbers for the President were much higher than the 70s immediately reported. This next shut-down will not be on Trump. The Ds should get serious, and get this done with the Rs. The wall is being built with or without them, so they may as well try and act like they support the county.
  2. I'm not sure any of this will matter... Rasmussen (!!) has President Trump's approval rating at 52% today which probably means 62-65%. The D and R internals probably tell the "real" story (and closer to real numbers): "the D is a sacrificial lamb". Rasmussen poll numbers
  3. That would be quite the time-travel feat: "payback from the Kavanaugh fiasco" when WaPo knew about it (the allegations) before the Kavanaugh confirmation hearings.
  4. After years of common core, you expect people to do math!?
  5. The headline is a tad misleading. He praises the Dems while saying that none has the "people personality" our president does:
  6. Pro-Trump Fashion at 2019 Grammys: From Border Wall Dress to ‘Keep America Great’ Jacket MAGA is having a small fashion moment at the 2019 Grammys. Singers Joy Villa and Ricky Rebel both used the red carpet to spread their pro-Trump messages. </snip> There is also a video of a guy in a Trump jacket (that is waaaay over the top!)
  7. She's standing outside in a snowstorm (with no gloves), her supporters showed up (no covering for them), and she had her 91-year-old father in the crowd!! How dumb is she?And from our Troller-in-Chief:
  8. Judge declines to block citizenship question from the 2020 census on privacy grounds A federal judge ruled late Friday she is unconvinced of an immediate need to block a citizenship question from the 2020 census over privacy concerns. US District Judge Dabney Friedrich declined to issue a preliminary injunction requested by a privacy and civil liberties nonprofit group, the Electronic Privacy Information Center. </snip>
  9. I hope they are better than the wine ice creams:
  10. I put this in PPP, but will drop it in this second thread:
  11. Virginia delegate plans to introduce articles of impeachment unless Fairfax resigns Virginia House of Delegates Member Patrick Hope (D) announced Friday he intends to introduce articles of impeachment for Justin Fairfax unless the Democratic lieutenant governor resigns by Monday following new allegations of sexual assault. </snip>
  12. While I knew some Bernie Bros were behind her, I didn't realize exactly who it was. This video is worth the listen. And then ask if the Rs are doing the same thing, and what Nancy is doing to break-up this little group?
  13. According to wiki: She graduated ***** (haha the filter) laude from Boston University's College of Arts and Sciences in 2011, majoring in international relations and economics. It costs $61K a year for a commuter to attend this year. And she is a walking billboard for them and the stupid they produce. If I were a student there, I'd ask for my money back. First a bartender (after paying a zillion dollars for tuition), next the public face of the "new democratic party". Holy *****.
  14. Hey, no conflict at all for WaPo to report on something slanted positively for Bezos in his time of need, right!? It is well known the National Enquirer bought stories that might prove embarrassing to President Trump. The MSM cackled and clucked about it for eons. As I said, I'd just post the photos if I were the National Enquirer. And then, I'd probably make it my life's work to find out (and publish) everything and anything salacious out Bezos. No one knows or cares about the publisher of the National Enquirer (so it can't really be tit-for-tat - advantage National Enquirer), but a *****-ton of people care about Jeff Bezos. Now, by making it their mission to embarrass him they could make him a sympathetic figure (I don't believe it is possible, but I don't read the National Enquirer either) so there is that concern. But, since he clearly disdains their publishing and practices (like WaPo is any better ? ) I'd simply go for it and get everything out there and more.
  15. My guess is they would play it as a professional courtesy to warn him about what they have, and what might be printed.
  16. Yeah, he's getting ahead of the story. Can't really blame him. If I were as stupid as he's been in my personal life, I'd try and get ahead of it too. If I am the National Enquirer, all those photos go to press the next issue. If they are public, they are not blackmail material. But what do I know? I'm not in the "news" media. Edited to add: IMO it is more likely his mistress' husband sent the photos to the National Enquirer. But WTH? A big government conspiracy sounds better!
