  1. I love that movie, and Chris Tucker was fabulous in it.
  2. Those released docs from Doug Collins have some "interesting" testimony. If only we had a press that was interested in reporting it. James Rybicki (Comey's Chief of Staff) </snip> P118 Chairman Gowdy. When was that -- I'm aware of that matter, and I appreciate the sensitive way in which you're handling it. When was the Director made aware of the other factor? Mr. Rybicki. Mr. Chairman, I don't remember the exact timeline, but it was early 2016. I don't remember the first time he was made aware of it. I want to say early 2016, and continued on through that spring. Chairman Gowdy. So we have a fall of 2015 request that it be referred to as a matter, not an investigation. We have another factor, perhaps in early 2016, that the Director was very concerned about, but has not to this day spoken publicly about and cannot speak publicly about. And both of those took place before May. Mr. Rybicki. Yes, Mr. Chairman. Chairman Gowdy. All right. And they both fall under the heading of the public could not -- could potentially not have confidence in the integrity of the Justice Department. Is that fair? Mr. Rybicki. Yes. </snip?> p 240 Mr. Parmiter. You were in the meeting with the Director when he was told by Attorney General Lynch to call the Clinton email investigation a "matter." Is that correct? Mr. Rybicki. That's correct. Mr. Parmiter. When did this meeting occur? Mr. Rybicki. My recollection is fall of 2015. I don't remember the exact date. I do remember that both the Director and Attorney General Lynch had Hill appearances coming up, and that's what prompted the meeting. Mr. Parmiter. By Hill appearances you mean testimony before congressional committees? Mr. Rybicki. That's my recollection, yes. </snip>
  3. LOL About Mueller not being called to testify. They want innuendo, not talking to the author. Everything is a race to get a headline... pretty true. And his point about tearing at the fabric of Congression oversight is spot on. It does make me wonder how much damage all this is doing to the Congressional oversight process. He's right about all of it. And when he ends by calling it a circus, well, it is difficult to disagree.
  4. Welp, if you're one of those people that think Trump is an idiot who is prone to forgiveness, then yup nothing will ever happen. However, if you have watched carefully the moves being made (including the firings, the special prosecutors, the investigations, and that lovely man in Connecticut who has charging-powers along with the power to read classified material at the Presidential level) and you recognize that President Trump is extremely bright and savvy, and have listened to his past chats and read his books where his stance has been that retribution is not only expected, but mandatory when you are ***** on, well, then expect a world of pain to rain down on the enemies of the United States - which includes high ranking officials in the Obama administration. At this point, it is a snowball rolling down a mountain and indictments cannot be stopped. I do agree that this process has seemed very slow for those who have been following along for the last two years. And every time a string is pulled, it leads to more avenues to investigate. None of this has been fast. Hopefully, the investigations have been so thorough, all the bad actors have been discovered and will be charged. This should never, ever happen again, and the only way to deter that is by making the soft-coup perpetrators pay with their freedom. Please note that prison time is not guaranteed. That is up to a jury without plea deals. However, the way the rats are scurrying and turning on one another? Buy popcorn stock, things are heating up.
  5. Loretta Lynch denies telling James Comey to call Clinton email probe a 'matter' Former Attorney General Loretta Lynch denied to congressional investigators last year that she ever instructed former FBI Director James Comey to minimize the Hillary Clinton email investigation by urging him to call it a "matter" instead of an "investigation." "I did not. I have never instructed a witness as to what to say specifically. Never have, never will," Lynch told a joint task force of the House Oversight and Judiciary committees. The transcript of the Dec. 19 interview, released Monday evening by House Judiciary ranking member Doug Collins, R-Ga., clashes with what Comey testified under oath. </snip>

  7. Yup. ? That was my favorite drive across the US... we stopped in so many places we would never fly to in South Dakota, Montana, and Wyoming. Everyone should drive across the US once or twice during the summer and make stops along the way. It can take quite some time, but oh the places you will go...
  8. Getting my popcorn ready.... Mark Meadows: ‘Declassification is right around the corner’ Republican Congressman and House Oversight Committee Member Mark Meadows there will be more information showing that President Trump was set up by senior officials with the FBI and DOJ. He made the comments Monday on “Fox & Friends,” adding that the declassification of documents will reveal it. </snip>
  9. I wonder if Bernie will finally get his shot? Being paid off with a house and skimming campaign donations with your wife as an "advertising consultant" is nothing in the political corruption scheme of things. Then too, the 2020 election has all the earmarks (but never say never) of the Democratic candidate being a sacrificial lamb. I'm sure Bernie can use a fourth house, and maybe the skim can go from 10% to 20% if he plays his cards right?
  10. Ukraine is gonna be an "interesting". The PM is resigning Wednesday, the Defense Minister resigned via Facebook, what else is going to happen I wonder? Ukrainian TV star Volodymyr Zelenskiy has sought to capitalize on his huge popularity, dissolving the country's parliament Monday minutes after he was sworn in as president. Zelenskiy, who won 73% of the vote last month in his landslide victory, slammed parliament as a hot-bed of self-enrichment, and promised to stop the war in the east against Russian-backed separatists. The president's bold move to dissolve the Supreme Rada followed the failure of a majority of lawmakers to use parliamentary ruses to hamper Zelenskiy's plans. Zelenskiy's victory reflected Ukrainians' exhaustion with widespread corruption and the country's political elite. </snip> After he was sworn in but before he moved to dissolve parliament, Zelenskiy asked the Supreme Rada to adopt a bill against illegal enrichment and support his motions to fire the country's defense minister, the head of the Ukrainian Security Service and the Prosecutor General. All of them are allies of former President Petro Poroshenko, who lost the election to the comedian with no previous political experience but who played the Ukrainian president on a popular TV show for years. </snip>
  11. I have always hated leaving WNY in the summer... no better weather spot in the United States than Western New York from May - October. We try and vacation during January, February, and March, for obvious reasons. Saying that, on one of our cross country drives (don't ask) my favorite place in the summer was in South Dakota. Absolutely loved the Black Hills. Someday, I hope to get back there.
  12. Yeah, I love how he went out of his way to give plausible deniability to Theresa May. Uh huh, sure. Trump's time over in Jolly Ol' England for the state visit ... my oh my, I'd love to be a fly on the wall at those meetings and talks!
  13. Reading that, he seems to say the dossier was good intel. That is just nuts.
  14. I am sure his security detail is thrilled. ?
  15. I'm pretty sure that's his wife. Even Jill Biden is like... stop with the touching, Joe. ?
  16. And I am not sure how true this is anyway. The guy a couple of doors down used to stop and pet my dog when I (or we) would walk him (my doggie has since passed away), and when his granddaughters visited, they would run to pet my dog.
  17. </snip> However, the incredible photo of Biden with his hand on the leg of W.C. Fields lookalike, New Castle Police Chief Kevin McDerby, at the Delaware Law Enforcement Memorial ceremony in Dover was taken on May 3, 2010. That date gives us a clue as to why the incredible photo went down the memory hole. </snip>
  18. All the Joe Biden gaffes? This is gonna be one long thread.
  19. JetBlue has a direct Buf to LAX. Flight time lists 5h32m
  20. Well, this is a shocker. The Liberal National coalition while sounding left, is actually right (center-right). Australia Prime Minister Scott Morrison has claimed victory in the 2019 election, with results showing the Liberal National coalition is on track to be returned to government. "I have always believed in miracles," he told jubilant supporters in Sydney. "And tonight we've been delivered another one." It was a stunning turnaround after every opinion poll over the campaign pointed to a Labor victory. Analysts are now saying Labor lost an "unlosable" election.
  21. Wow, he's got a chance dozens of people want to hear him speak! The second tweet said 30 people.
