My father was a teacher. ? With that said, he voted Democrat his whole life because that is who was willing to give the teachers $$ contracts. When he began teaching ('63) he left a FT gig at Chevy. He took a 65% pay cut to teach. Teachers were severely underpaid back then. My niece is now a teacher (same school district my father taught in for 35+ years). The pay is not the issue these days, but it is difficult to turn off the money spigot. You (generic you) keep voting for the people who give you more money, power (control), and the people that will further your agenda. Apparently, the teachers unions (and the teachers themselves) feel that person is Bernie. Goodness knows the public school curriculum of the past 30 years has been so fabulous, it should continue on course. ? ?

Retaliate is very different than "start." Three years now, and I am still surprised how many people do not realize that President Trump doesn't start fights, but he sure hits back twice as hard.

I have not understood why the average schmo roots for Trump to not succeed. DNC officials? Sure. The people who have their hand in the graft-cookie-jar who were also a part of the current money-laundering scandal? Absolutely get those people. Federal employees afraid of downsizing? Yup, I get it. But the average person on the street having a meltdown because they have a job, the economy is good, their investments are doing well? Why would they want their President to do poorly?

That explains more than a few reactions today from former Obama staff.

My Political Predictions: I predict pain and destruction for the coup plotters!! Actually, I don't really. At this point even I am worn out by the lack of indictments, and would not be shocked to see the clock run out.
