  1. hehehe I can't wait for the squirming and obfuscating of the "msm" when a few of their own are named in, at least legal findings, if not indictments (yes, I know that is unlikely), when this rolls out.
  2. If I needed to be somewhere badly enough, I would. Again, you are welcome to stay at home and hide under your bed. No one is telling you that you can't. The people who would like to go out, earn a living, get back to normal life, are being told they cannot. Sometimes, arbitrarily. There is a big difference there. At this point in time there are treatments. There weren't when this virus was first released by China onto an unsuspecting world. There are ventilators. There is no vaccine as that is 1-3 years away. Are you suggesting that we all stay at home another 1-3 years waiting for a vaccine?
  3. Well, in my father's nursing home it was the staff that brought it in. What can we do? Leave the people in the nursing homes to fend for themselves and die of thirst or starvation? I am not sure what you are arguing for... that we should all be wrapped in bubble wrap and stay home forever? Because if it is not COVID-19, it is a car accident. And if it is not a car accident, it is a work accident. Life is a gamble. There are no protections. If you want to stay home and hide, that is your prerogative. Many others would like to get out and earn a living so their families can have food on the table, and a roof over their heads.
  4. That is some interesting study. “The rest of the state” (not NYC, its suburbs, or Albany) get a disproportionate amount of state tax dollars because they have the NYS prisons, SUNY schools, and mental hygiene facilities. Ummm so put ‘em in Westchester, I am sure that would fly. Basically, the study shows the NYC ‘burbs contribute the most. Not a surprise. I’d be willing to bet Westchester itself is a great deal of that. NYC banking generates a lotta dinero, and is how those $10 million starter homes in Rye are financed. There are also some very, very wealthy enclaves on Long Island. Still, I do wonder if the opportunity arose if “upstate” would break away from NYC (or metro NYC)? Have the laws imposed in the state with the aid of that regional money the last 30-40 years helped “upstate” create/keep wealth? Would “upstate” be better off not living under the shadow of NYC?
  5. Press from SLC: your call with every R Senator except Mitt Romney, are you still holding a grudge? Trump: Yeah LOL
  6. WHY is Trump calling on that guy again? I'd let him sit there and never call on him again.
  7. Someone asked Trump about pardoning Stone or Manafort, and he's going on about it was all a scam, and chatting about Flynn. He said he will not tell the press what he will do for Stone. He called "the top of the FBI" scum. And now the tables are turned... investigate the investigators. They are "human scum."
  8. The gotchya reporters are back today. Who is the ####### CNN reporter Trump is taking a bat to?
  9. CMS Seema Verma: Medicare put out $90B in accelerated medicare payments. Hospitals are reporting unused capacity, and laying off. Nursing home - payments + labs payments Nursing home transparency - requiring nursing homes to report to patients and families if they have COVID in the nursing home. They also need to report to the CDC.
  10. Pence: they have the testing the states need to reopen for for phase 1 provided the states meet the other criteria
  11. Pence: hosting a call with the governors of the states and territories, to review, criteria, etc before reopening. Change in mitigation strategies. Providing more details about all the testing labs available across the country (and their states).
  12. COVID treatment acceleration program. To slash red tape and speed up development (treatments, immune therapies, antibody tests). Pence: naming large metro areas that are past their peak. NO is most stable of the large metro areas he mentioned. Watching: Chicago, Boston, Philly. Pence: report 55,028 military personal have been deployed (medical), he mentioned the amount of nation guard too, but I missed that number.
  13. He's talking about supply chains. Why a supply chain? Make your products here! (United States) Bring the supply chains back to the United States... where they never should have left. The globalists are bad (paraphrased). He is on to WHO and WTO and the investigations. Pointing out the Democratic debate in Vegas on February 24th. (echoing his tweet earlier)

Thanking 3M for stepping up (after a skirmish in teh beginning). Making more masks. Mentioning the Ohio sterilizer company (again). American medical workers normally use 25M masks in a typical year.

  22. He's praising some WSJ journalist... Trump rewrites the book on emergencies.
  23. These (swabs) were shipped to states, and some of the states do not know where they are.
  24. Trump up We are continuing to negotiate with the Democrats to get money to our small business. We are getting close. Looking to help hospitals, and rural hospitals as part of the package. Tested 4.18M Americans. He listed how much more testing the US has done than about 10 countries combined (he listed the countries). Tomorrow Pence will have a call with the Governors (testing strategies) Listing all the labs available to the governors (more than most states are using). Showing a swab, opening it up.
