Last tweet, following his link to Chillum... that thread she has a thread that is pretty informative on why Scarpelli was brought in, the specializing in wiretaps, fraud, evidence tampering. He is "fluid with reviewing —>INDICTMENTS<—, affidavits, forfeiture allegations, and proposed plea offers" (one of her tweets). I don't think John Solomon was correct on this week being the indictment week (although a Friday surprise would be nice), but as these stories start to drip out, I'm guessing that original May-date isn't too far off.

The office of the president represents all American people. When the press are disrespectful to the office, they are disrespecting all Americans. -

She's been horrible since the get-go, yet she is not even close to the worst one (Weijia Jiang from CBS for you boys that want to ogle her). Acosta is a clown show, but even he isn't the worst one. The worst one is Paula Reid from CBS (hmmm CBS again) whose husband has lots of ties to China. She is a disrespectful harpy, and as I have said before, they may not respect President Trump the person, but they need to show respect to the office he holds. -

The Thread To Vent On Nancy Pelosi & Her Hubris

Pelosi scraps proxy voting plan after GOP outcry Now, the House will vote Thursday on whether to establish a select coronavirus oversight committee. Speaker Nancy Pelosi is backing off a plan to muscle through a major rules change to the way House lawmakers vote during the coronavirus pandemic, and has announced a bipartisan task force to further study the issue before taking any action. Pelosi announced the sudden change of plans during a call with her leadership team Wednesday morning, saying she would no longer push to change House rules this week to allow members to vote by proxy after vocal Republican opposition. The California Democrat made the decision after talking with House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) for nearly an hour earlier Wednesday, aides said. </snip> -

Surgeon General - more testing, he mentioned the major pharmacies. Talking about vulnerability they have themes - housing type, minority status, socioeconomic (missed the 4th one). Want to identify people if they are asymptotic. OAN: What about Iran? Trump: We will shoot them out of the water. Will not let our service people be threatened. -

Press: Nursing home question. Trump: we care about our seniors, and Pence stepped up. Pence: He's giving the administration-line about why people need to stay away from nursing homes. Deployed 8K inspectors to make sure the nursing homes are complying. How some national guard people are cleaning nursing homes. Explaining about the testing in the phases. First and foremost to nursing homes and long term care facilities. Testing resources will also go to vulnerable communities. Reminding people to be especially careful around seniors. -

Press: wants him to contradict Redfield Fauci: Talking about guidelines. We will have cornavirus in the fall (he's convinced of that), and what happens will be how we can contain it. In the fall we will be much better prepared. Complicating factor - influenza season. Big or small, it will depend on our response. Press: What happens when governors like Kemp are not following the plan Fauci: if I were advising him, I'd advise him to be careful. There could be a rebound. I'd advise him as a health official and physician, not to do that. -

Fauci: Flattening and coming down. What has happened the mitigation (30 day program), has worked. We can now think seriously about opening America. Carefully thought out program for opening America (guidelines from a few days ago). This is not finished. We need to proceed carefully, and measured. The reopening will different in different parts of the country. He mentioned the economic suffering. Pleading with the American public to continue with the formula. He's worried about a rebound. -

Pence: April 1st went to WalMart distribution center to ask them to get in the gowns business. They are producing 8.1M for June. New Balance is making 100K masks. 3M was also mentioned. Whole America approach. He's very positive today... things are working, and we can see the light at the end of the tunnel. -

Pence: Continuing to see declines in major cities that were most impacted. NJ/NYC-metro appears past peak. The positive rate is going down. Reminding that the guidelines are working, and should continue. We want to safely reopen America. The fastest way is to continue to do what you have been doing. Went to Madison WI yesterday (GE healthcare team). Defense production act - repurpose, got them materials, the union sat down with GE healthcare that allowed them to bring in workers. They doubled, and will now be tripling the line (3 shifts, 24/7) for more ventilators. We will have 110K ventilators in xx days (I missed that). Continuing National Guard partnering through May 31st. More than 5,500 active military personnel including 900---something medical. A lot of these people are disinfecting nursing homes over the US. -

Trump: Encouraging to see states open up. Social distancing, follow the phases. Wash your hands, face covering when distancing is impractical. We must guard against a rebound. This never should have happened. (Referring to it never should have left China.) Reminding the Governors that they have a lot of lab testing capacity available. Governors have customized plans for their states. Working with the states to help them succeed. Told the governor of Georgia he disagreed with opening some of the facilities. But, he must do what he thinks is right. Trump thinks it is too soon for hair dressers, nail salons, and tattoo parlors. The blue angels and thunder birds will be performing shows over America cities. (I don't think he said shows, but whatever) -
The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19
Buffalo_Gal replied to Hedge's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Press: the US will be more prepared, how can you say it will not come back. Trump: If it comes back, it will not be like before. We have better containment, and watching hot spots. If it does come back, it will not be what we went through. Trump, Redfield, Birx seem to be emphasizing get the flu shot. Press: Why are we still getting ventilators? Trump: We may need them for something else (listing stuff). Something could happen. Now monologuing about ventilator production. The US will be sending ventilators to a lot of countries. From Italy to Pakistan, etc. -

Birx: summer for testing if covid potentially came back. Follow the guidelines. Redfield was saying please get a flu shot. We would be able to stay in containment phase. Dr. Birx is saying it may come back, it may not. They do not know for sure. What the CDC is putting in place today what we will need in the fall IF it comes back.
