Of course I considered that as him trying to acquire an outside veteran #1WR before the trade deadline was the easiest prediction of the off-season. The key word is "trying." There's no guarantee that one or more would become available so bad planning on his part.

I think the pink elephant in the room is there's some racial elements involved when it comes to voting for the Pro Bowl and MVP that people are afraid to acknowledge. Especially with Allen and Lamar as both are known as great scrambling QB's. Lamar came into the league as the 5th QB taken in the draft with Bill Polian stupidly saying he should be a WR. Meanwhile, with Allen the day of the draft someone brought up some tweets of when he was a teenager that taken at face value seemed racist (even though he was quoting a TV show). I'll just leave it at that.

I finally succumbed to buying red zone once the Bills started getting all these non 1pm games. It's pry the best invention since the wheel with penicillin a close 3rd.

If Beane was way ahead of everybody he would've never extended Diggs and had to eat $31m this year against the cap. Lol. I'm glad he realized Diggs was on the decline and fleeced the Texans for a 2nd round pick. My criticism wasn't trading Diggs. It was not finding an outside #1WR to replace him this off-season. When Beane realized this he got lucky that Cooper was available for his low salary hit. I give him credit for making the move as early as he did.

Root for the Patriots against the Fish because there are very few things more satisfying than Fins fans renewed playoff hopes getting crushed. Also, I'm rooting for minor one to two week injuries for the 49ers against the Packers.

I agree that an outside bona fide #1 WR is crucial. However, we're eating 31 million in dead cap space right now for a 31 year old WR who has lost a step (not uncommon at that age). There has to be better options out there for a #1 WR who's younger via free agency or trade. If not I guess you have to roll the dice and pay up for Cooper. I'd only do two years maximum though.

Very odd pick for this position as she cosponsored a bill to weaken work to right laws. She's more Democrat than Republican in that regard.

Let's just see how the rest of this season goes with Cooper. I'm always suspicious of top end talent that gets traded multiple times. I'm hopeful his main motivation is money so he'll ball out the rest of the season to parlay it into a big contract next year.

I have a non negotiable half hour power nap time that is interrupted when the Bills play in the 4:00 window. Without it I kind of drag through the rest of the day and have sleeping trouble as it is.
