That's never stopped the NFL before. -

It'll be interesting on Thanksgiving moving forward if they ever say screw it the Lions and Cowboys aren't guaranteed to play home games on that day and can get flexed out. Nobody wants to watch Tommy Devito vs. Cooper Rush while eating turkey. Not even their families. -
LOL. He's already had 11 different MVP's this season.
-
Me too but he'll have to earn it as he has some tough defenses down the stretch.
-
My guess is the Lamar Jackson argument will be he has better numbers. Kind of the reverse of last year's debate which is kind of funny.
-
I wonder what's going through Rodgers mind at the time shaking Woody's hand. LOL. Douglas and Saleh were so happy.

On please Jets fire the interim head coach and bring in Rex/Rob Ryan so we can continue to enjoy this beautiful disaster.

Head Coaching Vacancies - 2024/2025 Edition
Doc Brown replied to Coach Tuesday's topic in The Stadium Wall
It would be dumb for the Colts to move off Steichen but it's Irsay so who knows. On the flip side, the Raiders would be dumb to stick with Anotonio Pierce who was never qualified for the position. It's an interesting situation because Burrow is thriving in Taylor's offense. This is the team where I put my antennae up for a possible Joe Brady hire going back to his ties to LSU. -
Xavier Worthy: So far, not much more than a gadget guy

Also points to the advantage of playing good teams that can exploit your biggest weaknesses early in the season. Beane was fortunate that someone of Cooper's ability was available for around 800k. It's not enough to excuse his neglect at that position the previous two off-seasons imo. It should be a dark spot on his resume. -
Bad news for Gabe but I'm glad he got that 2nd contract. He deserved it with the hard work he put in here as a 4th round pick. It's still crazy to me that his contract and Saquon Barkley's are nearly identical. Barkley has two million more guaranteed while Davis is making 400k a year more than him over three seasons.

Have to sweat out the stat corrections. LOL.
-
Burrow's having a career year without Mixon. Their offense is #6 in the league. Their running backs are averaging four yards a carry which is what Mixon averaged last year. Their defense is the problem.
-
Baffles my mind they don't give Trey Lance a chance. You gave up a 4th round pick for him.

Lucky to have a WR of that quality available with such a low base salary that Beane was able to absorb his contract. -

Chiefs wouldn't have traded for DHop if Rice doesn't get injured. Beane got lucky that the Browns were selling and Cooper had that cheap base salary. -
Josh Allen Punched in the head two weeks in a row
Doc Brown replied to kitchen sink's topic in The Stadium Wall
I saw all the camera angles and he was going for the ball. Way different than last week. It's unfortunately the risk you take when Allen runs. -
It's a quarterback league and Bo Nix isn't Joe Burrow at this point. Plus, McDermott's defense eats rookie QB's for breakfast.

I know we're sky high right now but it's not inconceivable that we lose two of our next three and then sweep the remainder of the year to finish 13-4. I think the Chiefs finish 14-3 or 15-2. I hate my prediction because I try to be positive but the Chiefs are battle tested. I'd project us as the one seed if the darn Broncos could execute a short field goal.
-
I think we end up with the 2 seed and will face the Broncos. So glad the Bengals lost last night. Best case scenario if we can't catch the Chiefs is Steelers win the North and the Ravens get the 5 seed. This is my prediction which I think is where they actually seed now... 1.) Chiefs 2.) Bills 3.) Steelers 4.) Texans 5.) Ravens 6.) Chargers 7.) Broncos Final four would be Ravens @KC and Steelers @Buff. Maybe the Ravens take them out and we host them for the AFC Championship game.

Thanks for doing your job.

Is the “Bills window is closed” talk finally over?

Eighty-seven year old Sean McDermott finally breaks through but can he win the big one? -

National media are moving the goal posts. It quickly gone back to "can't beat the Chiefs in the playoffs?" That's what it will always be until proven otherwise. -
I think I'd rather see the Ravens or Chiefs before the Bengals. LOL. Hopefully that's it for them.

11/17/24 Game 11 GAMEDAY! Bills vs Chiefs Gameday Thread
Doc Brown replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
Battle of former #2 picks in the draft making sure the QB's in front of them are hydrated. Should be a fun game. -
The first one that comes to mind is the Vikings when we were 17 point dogs. Cowboys Thanksgiving game. The 49ers and Seattle in the Covid year. Chiefs on SNF in 2021. Baltimore in 2022. Not a lot of games we weren't favored in because of good roster construction including a top 5 QB.
