  1. Lost in this is how much of a great play that was by Cooper. In the snow catching a bullet reaching back with one hand, securing it, and then having the mental awareness to flip it to your new QB. Special stuff.
  2. God no. About a year ago at this time he was apologizing for crediting the 9/11 hijackers for their coordination and camaraderie during a team meeting.
  3. My first reaction to this had me more thinking about human nature than actual politics. I have a son and daughter in their 20's now and if either one faced nearly the rest of their life in prison and I had the power to prevent that. Would I? Would you? I guess it depends on what they did. I'm in no way absolving Biden for pardoning his crackpot son because it's complete bs that he said he wouldn't and he did. I guess maybe it's too simplistic of a hypothetical scenario because Joe Biden pry isn't clean either. BTW, in a country that prides itself of having a government of "checks and balances" how is it okay that the president is the only person in the country that can issue pardons? Seems to be against everything we stand for.
  4. Pegula in the background wondering how much McDermott knows about hockey.
  5. I could see using the record as justification for it. I wouldn't agree with it though. If they base the MVP on breaking historical records at positions other than quarterback than TJ Watt should've won it in 2021 and Calvin Johnson should've won it in 2012.
  6. Then you get into that argument of how much of it's on the RB and how much of it is due to the play of the o-line. Barkley averaged 3.9ypc last year behind a poor o-line.
  7. They'll move the goalposts if Barkley breaks the all time rushing record.
  8. He hurt it scrambling in the first quarter. He seemed okay the rest of the game though. Can't wait for the "load management" discussion down the stretch.
  9. Bills are 16-3 since that Tyler Dunne hit piece. The cruel reality of this game is it means nothing if you don't win the big one.
  10. They made sure that didn't happen and signed D. Jones. LOL.
  11. If the 2022 Vikings played the 2024 Vikings who would win?
  12. Burrow threw a pick and had two fumbles (one returned for a TD) too. The offense at least deserves some of the blame.
  13. Star Wars? Is that similar to the book "Twenty Thousandd Leagues Under the Sea" by Jules Verne?
  14. Anarumo only seems to show up in the playoffs. It's bizarre.
  15. It was the right call because it stopped the clock but luckily their defense is abhorrent.
  16. Who would've thought Fields would keep it there? LOL.
  17. I'm pretty sure I heard Garret compare Tua to Magic Johnson on Thanksgiving. I'm good with Collinsworth. Lol.
  18. Did they elevate Mike White so he could be Milano's tackle dummy on the sideline?
  19. I think we need to see "The Russian is cut" in the postseason with the Chiefs. I hope we're the team that does it.
  20. Throwing a bomb on 3rd and 2 and then not trying to draw them Offside on 4th and 2 was next level. LOL. I understand what you're saying but I think you're giving them too much credit for yesterday's game.
  21. Except he wasn't going for extra yards. Just wanted to burn a few more seconds off the clock. Here's the Raiders head coach (I think still) after the game, “We was gonna snap the ball and really just throw the ball out of bounds and just — the ball’s at the 32 yard line. We were gonna kill four or five more seconds and kick a 49-yard field goal." Just very bad situational football. If AOC just waited 10 seconds to spike the ball it would ensure the kick was the last play of the game. However, he didn't. At that point since you don't have timeouts to clearly explain what you want your QB to do then you just send the field goal offense out with 15 seconds left on the clock. I mean it's highly unlikely that Mahomes can drive down the field with 6 or 7 seconds left. 13 maybe but not 6 or 7.
  22. I haven't seen or known one person who said that. We learned our lesson last year. What's a little different this year is their defense isn't as good. The pass rush isn't what is was last year and losing Sneed and Ward definitely stresses their pass defense. If you ignored the name and history of this specific team though and just looked at the metrics we'd call them a fraudulent 11-1 team.
