The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19
Doc Brown replied to Hedge's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
They want a full house which means more money and the unvaccinated sections were getting in the way of that. It's the opposite of virtue signaling. -
I would add Terminator 2: Judgement Day and The Dark Knight to that list. Easily. I'd put them above Star Trek II at least.

What is the worst play in Bills history?
Doc Brown replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That's a good one as I completely forgot about that play pry because we were behind at the time and I was just so sickened we weren't dominating a terrible Raiders team with our playoff lives on the line. I think it was Andre Holmes who caught it. To me, it was the Bryce Brown fumble through the endzone that will always be buried in my mind as the play that altered the course of the Bills franchise. -

It is but my guess is China would just receive a slap on the wrist given how important they are to the world economy. -

Beane and McDermott may not be here if he doesn't. -
Minneapolis's stadium is a temperature controlled dome with about 60% of the roof composed of ETFE glass. They just have an awesome design and were able to build the stadium for 1.1 billion dollars. Just hire those people and tell them we want the same thing. A retractable roof isn't worth the money as teams that have it only have it opened about a third of the time. Plus, four of the five teams that have warmer climates (Dallas, Houston, Arizona, Atlanta). The Colts being the only exception. I surrendered season tickets years ago after being miserable after a 34 degree rain soaked game during the Bills/Giants game in late '07? If the Pegula's read this board, I will GLADLY purchase two PSL's if you build a new dome in Orchard Park next to the current stadium.

The Broncos wouldn't surprise me.

Josh Allen OTAs press conference 5/25
Doc Brown replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They're still testing for it because there's many players coming back that opted out with preexisting conditions that might be in serious trouble if they catch it from a teammate. The same protocol of isolation would be in place if you test positive because of that. You can still test positive for it (see the Yankees) but the vaccines are obviously extremely effective given the steep decline in cases across the country as a larger percentage of the population keeps getting vaccinated. Some of the incentives for vaccinated players is they won't be required to wear masks, only be tested once a week instead of daily, and can hang out with vaccinated teammates outside the confines of the stadium. It's perfectly reasonable. -

True. McDermott could tell the media that he instructed them to say that for now if he really wants to squash the vaccine questions. -

It's a legitimate question as I don't want Josh or other key players catching Covid going into the playoffs or any time during the season. They're just doing their jobs. If Josh is vaccinated please do the shot in his left arm. -

How's India doing now btw? -
Not that different. They may have felt his ceiling was McCaffrey. It's possible the Bills would've traded up for him if they weren't lacking offensive firepower like the Panthers were going into the 2017 season. Can someone give Beane some truth serum before his next press conference?
-
That's possible but they would've gone against the overall consensus. I believe Beane was still with the Panthers when they drafted McCaffrey and who knows how much influence he had over that pick.
-
Beane went unprompted at one of the post draft press conferences to say he's not in the "never draft a running back in the first round" club. Combine that with all the pre draft rumors, Etienne's comment, and Beane's pre draft comment that we didn't have a homerun threat............I think we would've taken him if available at #30. They may have even tried to trade up and failed. I would've been thrilled to get him so I hope he fails miserably in Jacksonville.

None but there were a few looks that said "great scott....I can see the guy's nose and mouth." It'll be a fun transition back.
