  1. Wouldn't he have already been put on it since he's part of the Texans 53 man roster?
  2. I was hoping to see row33 at billsfans.com given he posted a lot on politics but he's not there as I just went through a lot of posts. I always liked his takes as it was never more than one line and the shift key wasn't an option. I do fear the worst for him. Unfortunately.
  3. Unemployment down from 6.3% to 4.8% since he took office. Stock market continues to set records. Most jobs created by any president in history over the first eight months of taking office. Delivered on promise to remove all troops from Afghanistan. 189 million fully vaccinated Americans. Passed a provision in the rescue plan that no one must spend more than 8.5% of what they earn on health insurance premiums.
  4. Not rooting for the Chiefs. I know we beat them but they're still the last team I want to see come January.
  5. There's a lot of teams in that boat as far as passing over Metcalf goes. Imagine being the Cardinals and drafting Andy Isabella two spots earlier who is basically Arizona's fifth WR who's been a healthy scratch most games this season. The Pats picking Harry in the first round that year will always put a smile on my face. Let's say we did take Metcalf. Would he have developed in Buffalo (Allen's 2nd year) like he did in Seattle in his rookie year? He had a future HOF QB in Wilson at the top of his game to throw him the ball and nobody's better at throwing the deep ball than Wilson. His rookie year was basically running only vertical routes and then he developed slowly into a complete WR. I don't know if he improves that quickly into a complete WR if we drafted him. Do we make the trade for Diggs with him on the roster who was crucial to Allen's development? I just hesitate to label that as a major mistake given where this offense is now. For all those reasons I'd pry take Elgton Jenkins over Metcalf if Beane had a do over in the 2nd round.
  6. Tua just put up 351 yards against a defense led by Josh Allen. They're set.
  7. Finally learns to catch the ball and then breaks his hand. Sign Tebow and trade him for Hollister?
  8. Glad an AFC contender didn't sign him. I guess his clean past shied the Chiefs away.
  9. The lack of a pass rush is pry the bigger frustration.
  10. I doubt they make any kind of serious run for the playoffs (even with an Eichel trade) but it'll be fun to see a young team grow together. The arena won't feel like a funeral parlor at least.
  11. Sabres fans with renewed hope right now.
  12. My teeth suck and I've had a lot of work done on them over the years. Every dentist will always prescribe an opioid in case I need it. Sometimes I'll use it but I can usually get away with regular ibuprofen or tylenol. I pry could've made some money with all the pills I didn't use. My guess is most doctor's don't know a patients pain tolerance so they'll just give you a prescription for an opioid assuming the worst case scenario. I just think most doctors don't want patients to be pissed at them and leave them bad reviews online or something so they'll write the script without a second thought. Multiple things can be true at once. Large pharmaceutical companies will push the drugs they manufactured. It's how they make money. They also can help treat serious conditions more effectively and in this case create an amazing vaccine that I still think is underappreciated by a large portion of Americans. I'll admit it is kind of funny seeing the left praise the vaccines created by the big pharma companies they've railed against in the past that some people on the right are now railing against. Gotta love America.
  13. I'm not disagreeing with you. I just find that article pointless. BTW, you can extend that line of thinking to just about anything (drunk driving, poor diet, avoiding doctor checkups, watching Josh Allen play football every weekend, etc.).
  14. I had to fact check to make sure that was real. It's crap like this from him that drove record turnout last November. Is it too much to ask to have a candidate worth voting for?
  15. Right but you can just point to statistics of the general population to prove that instead of focusing on one profession.
  16. He's similar to Edmunds in a lot of ways (average starter with some flashes of greatness) which is why they pry pick up his 5th year option. You know you're getting a serviceable player for at least two more seasons giving you more time to evaluate whether a 2nd contract is warranted. I'm guessing since he won't make the pro bowl you can pick it up for about $8m.
  17. What's the point of this article? You pry have a similar ratio for every profession. You're more likely to be killed as a construction worker than a cop. What's their ratio?
  18. At that point in the game we didn't know our defense was helpless to stop this Titans offense. You take the points.
  19. McDermott has been heavily criticized in the past for going the conservative route when push came to shove. Him choosing to go for it on 4th and inches is a significant step imo as I think Sean kicks the field goal at this same time last year. His first year when he punted in the snow game making a tie highly likely which would've essentially knocked us out of playoff contention. He got lucky that it worked out but I still can't defend that call. Then not going for it on 4th and short before the half last year against KC and again in the 3rd quarter when you knew field goals weren't going to cut it against that team. In this situation the analytics were on your side. The way the game was playing out made it an easier decision. Our defense was reeling and all we needed was the best player on our team tonight to pick up half a hard. You put it in Josh's hands. If he doesn't slip it's a first down at minimum and likely would've led to a game winning touchdown. This loss sucks but I thought McDermott showed the aggressiveness needed in a head coach in today's NFL. That bodes well for this team going forward.
  20. Let's just focus on the Fins . I just want to beat them to get the sick feeling out of my stomach ASAP.
  21. Deja vu from last year against the Cardinals going into the bye. Also, only the second time the Bills have lost when an Allen led offense put up more than 30 (also the Cardinals). I told my wife that it just doesn't sting as much when our franchise QB plays a great game further validating him as a true franchise QB. The Steelers loss hurt more because he looked like 2019 Josh.
  22. It seems almost every fan base thinks their o-line sucks. I think we're an above average pass blocking team and a below average run blocking team. I get your point though that it will come back to bite us in the postseason. You have to wonder if Beane is looking at the trade deadline to upgrade at guard.
  23. It was short but I wasn't aware the NFL had a sky judge in this game because that's what it seemed like.
  24. Ravens are now the favorites for the one seed but it's early. Tough loss but this team always bounces back. I'm hoping we can string a lot of wins in a row now with an easy schedule using this as fuel.
