Make it easier for him then. On second and goal from the one on the second last drive have him qb sneak it. If that doesn't work do it again. Then maybe call that play to McKenzie.

A Few Thoughts About the Dolphins Game, in no particular order
Doc Brown replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree with everything but thought you were too harsh on Allen. I don't know of many other QB's who could've done what he did on Sunday. He was deadly efficient when he had his full compliment of weapons to start the game minus the second drive where he failed to get the ball out on time for the unblitzed blocker. Then the offensive injuries and heat exhaustion took some players in and out (Bates, Brown, Knox, Diggs, McKenzie, Kumerow, Doyle). Still though, he was the sole reason they were able to put together those long drives and keep Tua off the field with our depleted defense. So many 3rd and 4th downs where he made chicken crap into chicken salad. He did throw some errant passes that could've been picked off and rushed the throw to McKenzie short arming it on 4th and goal. However, in totality I can't be as negative on him as you considering the circumstances and would give him a B plus grade. We would've lost by three touchdowns with a lesser QB. Lamar and Mahomes are pry the only other two that would've made it a ballgame. -
Myles Garrett injured in car wreck (non life threatening)
Doc Brown replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Could be but you can flip your car without going 100 plus. I had a similar situation twenty something years ago going about 65 in a 55 in the rain on a country road where a deer popped out sprinting from some high grass. I didn't want to flip my car like Garrett so I just braced for impact without turning the wheel. -
Why exactly are we favored by 3.5 in Baltimore?
Doc Brown replied to Adamb412's topic in The Stadium Wall
As long as sharp bettors don't influence the line too much. Yes. -
Update: Xavier Rhodes signed by Bills
Doc Brown replied to Steel City Mafia's topic in The Stadium Wall
Solid veteran depth signing. For those interested, last year he gave up 41 receptions on 65 targets for 524 yards with a QB passer rating of 92.1. For comparison, Levi Wallace gave up 55 receptions on 92 targets for 650 yards with a QB passer rating of 85.9. -
The top right of the screen is the only connection I see.

Daniel Jones is Josh Allen's backup next year.
-
What an idiot that TE is.
-
Stupid not running it there.
-
Not worth the challenge but if they called it a touchdown on the field I think it stands. The refs did us no favors today.
-
I thought it was funny. We need to find a way to get the run game going though as putting this much on Allen is unsustainable.
-
Same defensive coordinator though and Allen had one bad game and one average against the Fins last year by his standard. No Byron Jones and hopefully a hobbled Xavien Howard changes that. Plus, Allen has had an amazing four game stretch here.

I'll go with our entire starting secondary being out minus Taron Johnson but that's a close second.
-
Plus, no Bobby Hart.

I'm sure there's some other thread for this but Poyer's out. Our offense is going to have to carry the day.

Tre White to PUP list, out first 4 games
Doc Brown replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bills keep it close to the vest so I wouldn't expect much since he can't practice until after week 4. I know they won't rush him back regardless of our current secondary situation. -
I know but after the Covid bs, the Allen slip that pry cost us home field, and the pyrrhic victory this past Monday ...... I wouldn't mind not seeing them again next year.

I never want to play the Titans again.

If the Bengals season goes sideways Jessie Bates would be interesting if Johnson struggles. No long term commitment needed. Somehow they can make it work with the cap.

Do you have a problem with fans standing the entire game?
Doc Brown replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
Same with my dad and the reason he doesn't go to games anymore. Always wondered if they could have a "no standing" section. Leave Rex Ryan out of this. -
I watch it through my chromebook and am having the exact same issue. I'm signed in and subscribed but they tell me I have to subscribe. I have to clear my browsing data, cookies, and cached images and files the previous 24 hours every time then it will work. It's frustrating. I suggest clearing any caches or cookies on your smart tv. Hopefully whatever is going on the last few days they'll fix. I know this pry doesn't help but misery loves company. Maybe you need 24 civil law suits against you until they'll start to care.

Micah Hyde seeking 2nd opinion on neck injury
Doc Brown replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Happened with 5:22 left in 3rd quarter up 34-7 on the Milano pick 6 drive. It's a bummer but that's football. -
It was the right move. You take the field goal to give yourself as much time as possible to get the game winning TD if you recover the onside kick.

I'm done gambling. Done. That was just cruel.

Well Bill Simmons has bowed to Bills fans.....
Doc Brown replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not sure if you're a millennial or a baby boomer. Definitely not Generation X though. I've always been a fan. His writing was innovative and unique at the time. He's well aware of how spoiled he's become as a Pats fan and will have fun because of it. However, he did say after the Super Bowl that the Bills were the best team and would've won if it wasn't for the coaching maleficence of the 13 seconds.
