Von working at home. Let me find Champ Bailey and switch faces.

Points. 10th in yards. Worst year yardage wise since 2019. Running the ball well consistently, historically low turnover rate, fewest negative plays in the league, and 2nd in red zone TD conversions helped get us there without an elite receiving weapon. Some of those areas will regress but a WR (or TE) stepping up could help offset that.

Bengals 1st RD Pick could go back to College?
Doc Brown replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
Usually because of the salary cap. If a player doesn't take a team friendly deal they tend to get criticized (James Cook). However, in this instance I think the majority of fans are on Stewart's side as it's ridiculous by the Bengals. -

Bengals are so stubborn they'd pry draft him again out of spite. -

I'm sure the seats will be fine. Better than metal benches. -
Von did say there were three teams interested in him. So he is available because that really means no teams were interested in him

I wonder the age of the average poster on here because message boards started before social media took off. I always kind of look at is "what does he have to gain?" In this case, nothing. There's always serial liars though so who knows. -

He wasn't really a friend but a new boyfriend of my sister in law's sister so I can't speak for his character. I don't see why he'd lie about it though. Lol. -

A friend who works construction there says they had to cheap out on the seats a little bit because of the tariffs. Just our luck. -

Powder blue with the white pants should be all their home games. They white and yellow pants look fine with their primary away jersey so maybe alternate them. Keep it simple stupid. -
It's Sauce Gardner's turn. Extended through 2030, $120 Million.
Doc Brown replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
Christian Benford - $17.5m per year. Sauce Gardner - $30.1m per year. I like the Benford value more.- 79 replies

I kind of used that word tongue and cheek because I know the natural reaction by opposing fans is to point out all his flaws to make it seem like a bad move. He's top 10 to 15 at this point at 24 years old. His new average salary after next year currently ranks sixth in the NFL. By the time he's in the middle of that contract he'll pry be between the 10th and 15th highest aav per year. He definitely didn't give the Jets a hometown discount but it's a fair contract imo. I think his yardage will improve a little once they get a competent QB in there but I agree targets are targets no matter who's throwing you the ball. It's why I don't share the Elijah Moore enthusiasm.

NFL Executives poll: Allen ranked #2 QB in NFL
Doc Brown replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Josh said it best. "To be the champs you have to beat the champs." Same thing goes for QB's. Agreed in watching him but the narrative will be we wasted maybe the most talented combination of arm strength and mobility in league history. -
If Justin Fields isn't the answer then they draft a rookie next year and get him in on a rookie contract. He'll have at least a #1 WR in place. This is exactly the time to do it.

Good move by them. It's always wise to pay a Superstar young player at a premium position early. He's put up three straight 1,000 yard seasons with scrubs at QB.
