McDermott has mellowed and it shows in the passion these guys play with. With each passing game and especially the adjustments he made in preparation for Baltimore, was absolutely brilliant. He knows he doesn't have a top 10 defense yet he stresses the value of takeaways. And this team is #1 in defensive takeaways. I'll bend all day long if I know it's going to result in a turnover. I've done nothing but criticize Sean since the 2019 Houston game. But this is the season he's really impressed me. He's brought this team together as a band of brothers.

Josh is going to get one and so is Lamar.

I’m very happy with how far we made it.

2 of the greatest prayers ever written are the Serenity Prayer and the Prayer of St. Francis. They both have beautiful yet common themes. And before our game with KC, I will be mindful of these amazing words. -

There's an old Bhuddist practice called "Radical Acceptance". Radical acceptance can be defined as the ability to accept situations that are outside of your control without judging them, which reduces the pain & suffering they cause. By accepting things for what they are, you can acknowledge your emotions without denying, avoiding, or ignoring the situation. It can be an effective way to process your emotions and manage difficult experiences. For 55+ years I've allowed myself to experience the stress and heartbreak of being a Bills fan. This is a situation outside of my control. We've created this psychological fail safe to protect us when the disappointment comes. To be at peace with either outcome seems to be a popular feeling among most Bills fans. And there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. Of course we want our team to win it all. To slay the dragon and beat KC. To hoist that Lombardi high for themselves and the dedicated fans who have invested their souls into this team. Maybe fans like @Augie and @BringBackFergy were right all along. Enjoy the ride and embrace the entertainment that this team brings to our lives. This is not a cop out, nor are you settling for just regular season accomplishments. But don't let the outcome destroy our lives thru stress & anxiety. it's not worth it. Life is too short. Praise the Bills for a spectacular season and celebrate them when they bring a championship to the greatest fans in the world. -
Dion Dawkins and the Bills ripped off - Baldy agrees

But they rarely use replay assist. And when they do, it's for selected circumstances. It's worthless if it doesn't cover everything that goes on in a game. Why buy a car if you're never going to drive it. -

Clearly the refs have no clue (or just don't care) what the rules are. He also slips on the snow covered field. This individual ref is a cross section of the incompetence we see every damn week. And the NFL is just not motivated to do anything about it. -
I don't know if they'll recover losing both guys, but please tell Campbell to stop crying at playoff exit pressers.

Every spot is bad. These guys literally guess most of the time on spots. If you slow it down, the ball was on the 1 when Josh's knee first hits the ground.

Davis took alot harder hit and he returned. CB will be cleared by Sunday.

Levy was 0-4 in Super Bowls, McDermott cannot go 0-4 vs KC

We lost big in 2020 and clearly weren't ready. We had them in 2021 and they were on the ropes last year. That's gotta tell me we finally get them Sunday. Just spy Mahomes and take away 87. Double team his old ass if you have to. Play a hybrid zone where you man up on Kelce only. Take away Pats security blanket. If Worthy beats you, so be it. -
Joe Brady, Josh Allen, and the playcalling
LABILLBACKER replied to Low Positive's topic in The Stadium Wall
They're a #1 run defense but at #31 pass defense, they're terrible. As Romo said, "throw downfield on 1st down, run on 2nd". Those first 2 drives of the 3rd quarter completely flipped the game. It felt like 2019 Houston all over again. Thank God we survived. Brady & Josh better figure out these blitz disguises. He's good downfield but behind the LOS he's worthless. -
LASIK, PRK, Corneal Transplant....not even an Excimer Laser would help these blind 🤡🤡.

Bass 10/10 in the playoffs Buh bye and goodnight Tinkerbell

Yeah, that was the sorry-est pass rush of the whole game.

Divisional Round, Ravens v. Bills, GAME BALLS!

Milano Hamlin Bass Oliver Honorable Mention: OL Von (fumble) Bernard (fumble) .....someday I'd like to be giving out gameballs to WRS & TE's?? Hear that Brady. -
Monken is already the highest paid OC in the league at 3M. And he'll likely get a HCing job. Eventually MVP voters have got to become exhausted over Lamar's inability to go deep in the playoffs. Those 2 turnovers cost them the game.

Revisiting our Bass confidence levels
LABILLBACKER replied to TheBrownBear's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bass was absolute money tonight. Made them short, made them long in cold weather. And they were straight and centered. My confidence level has definitely risen. -
Don't laugh...he just might be activated. This is exactly why we brought him in. Hamlin might be the worst rated blitzing safety in the entire NFL. Just stop Babich and go with Milano or Bernard.
