The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19
Governor replied to Hedge's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
If you still aren’t vaccinated at this point, you should have to wear a shield and have your office moved to the basement like the guy in Office Space, then be pushed out the door and replaced with someone that’s a bit more sensible. I would make employees wear a pink shield with unicorns on it and let it play out. There can be no accommodations made for the unvaccinated. If you have Hep C or AIDS and you give it to someone else, you can be criminally charged. It should be no different here moving forward. -
This is what’s left of the GOP. QAnon followers think a cicada landing on Biden may be a veiled communication from Q. https://www.businessinsider.com/qanon-followers-cicadas-landing-on-biden-comms-from-q-2021-6?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+businessinsider%2Fpolitics+(Business+Insider+-+Politix)

Our next POTUS takes on Big Tech in Florida

No member of Trump’s cult will ever be president. That should be pretty obvious to everyone by now. He really should’ve done a better job distancing himself from the idiot a few years ago. They didn’t even begin their rebuilding process yet. He might as well be wearing a Trump wig out there. We’re looking at at least 2 more presidential cycles until a Republican can be competitive in a general election. -

It worked just fine for a decade. I’ve got an idea. How about instead of changing the voting process every few years, why not just change the party’s platform and get some fresh ideas so you aren’t so unappealing to the majority of voters. Sounds like a pretty easy thing to do. -

HR1 specifically addresses that issue. There’s lots of good stuff in that bill. At the end of the day, you can’t require someone to purchase something to exercise their right to vote. It’s a poll tax. You guys all screamed bloody murder when Obamacare required people to purchase insurance. That was overturned. Its basically the same thing here. Photo ID’s don’t fix the voter rolls. They mail you cards to mail back confirming your registration and home address in between elections. If you don’t mail it back, you’re removed from the rolls. I have one sitting right here on my table from NC. -

Now, if you want to give every American adult a free state or federal ID and automatically register every American adult to vote……OK, now we’re starting to get somewhere. Unfortunately, the GOP refuses to do either of those things for obvious reasons. This is why no one takes your cause seriously. -

When I lived on the beach around 2006 until just a few years ago. Lots of people on the beach and inner cities don’t carry a license or ID. You should try it. Leave your license at home and see how long it takes until someone asks to see it. Years will go by. You don’t actually need it in your possession for anything these days. -

Right. So what you confirmed is that “some” data, emails, etc., are authentic and came from somewhere, likely his iPhone. What you can’t confirm is that the laptop really belongs to him(store owner vanished) and that the data was present on that device when it was given to that store owner and then to Rudy. Even if the laptop belonged to him, it doesn’t prove any of the other things. This is what you guys are purposely ignoring. So, what we likely have here is a device stuffed full of hacked material, some real, some fake, and the FBI hasn’t confirmed any of those things yet. This isn’t hard guys. Going by what Rudy did previously with the Weiner laptop, we know the intent wasn’t to find anything criminal, but to force an investigation open that gives the impression of wrong doing. The emails or content in those emails never mattered to them and it turned out to be totally bogus. We see the same exact strategy played out with the Hunter Biden story, every step of the way. Same exact thing. It was a replay of 2016 except this time everyone was waiting for it and fell off their couch laughing when it came in the final weeks. So now, Rudy has these “other” hard drives that contain NEW juicy corruption. Sound familiar? Hmm….where have we seen this before? Hey, wait a minute! This is the same as Hillary’s buttery males!!!!? This is why I often refer to Trump as a “one trick pony.” -

If you are registered to vote, then no, you shouldn’t have to do any of those things because you already did when you registered to vote. Voting is a right. Buying alcohol and getting a CDL isn’t a right. Those are are “privileges.” -

Correct. Your Hunter Biden conspiracy, along with Rudy’s super duper secret hard drives, never had any legs and that’s why the smear didn’t work pre-election. Although, we will eventually find out who placed the material on the devices, since Rudy is likely to be indicted for his Ukraine criminality here soon. -

We don’t need one because you can’t confirm the laptop belonged to Hunter Biden. Until the FBI confirms this, we have no choice but to assume the data did not originate on that laptop. This is all stuff that forensics can figure out in 10 minutes. Same thing with Rudy’s hard drives. They already know what the deal is. The hacked data was placed on other devices. -

There’s a reason why I’m asking a question I already know the answer to. The material was hacked and then placed on a device. Hackers do that to hide their criminality and it allows the data to be released legally. It provides cover for the hack. I’m not saying that his iPhone wasn’t hacked at some point. I’m saying that there was no laptop that contained this data initially. It was placed there at a later time. -

Can you show me a real source that confirms the laptop belongs to Hunter Biden? We know who Daily Mail is and their track record. Show me a source that says…. FBI confirms laptop belonged to Hunter Biden. -

I’m actually the opposite. I’ve never been asked for an ID, but I’ve been asked to verify my home address. You need a SS to initially register to vote. Shouldn’t being registered be enough? if people stopped to think about it, there’s a dozen reasons why someone might not have an ID with them on Election Day. -

They absolutely are. They’re also required to register to vote. So…..why make everyone take that next step to get an actual ID if they’re already registered to vote. I believe you just made my case for me. Nice! -

We already went through all of this. I didn’t have an ID for like 12 years. There isn’t much you really need it for these days as long as you have your birth certificate, SS card, etc. -

We never did see that Hunter Biden laptop. That’s because there never was a laptop. That material was hacked. -

They absolutely are the target and always have been the target. The working poor as some would call them. You have this idea in your head that people are coming into peoples homes and dragging them out of bed at 3pm to fill out a ballot and then going back to sleep. I can assure you those aren’t the people that these laws are designed to affect. LMAO. -

I worked on this issue for 10 years. I’ve watched the suppression tactics the entire way through. You’re defending tactics that GOP officials no longer defend. They are openly saying why they want to restrict voting. They say that if people have the option to mail in vote, Republicans will never win the presidency again. Not a single American should have to wait in a long line to vote in 2022. It says that everyone has the right to vote. It doesn’t say that you have the right to vote if you can hula-hoop for 5 minutes and then climb Mt. Everest. Most low income folks can’t even get time off to vote. The mail in voting process is great the way it is. I’m sorry that your party’s ideology is dead. It happens. Minority rule isn’t sustainable. We tried to meet R’s in the middle and declare it a national holiday so everyone could vote. They refused.
