Yup. It’s likely coming down to NC and you’ve Lara Trump vs. either Cooper or an African American astronaut. That’s gonna flip blue. If we get a signal from Biden that he doesn’t want to run, it wouldn’t surprise me at all if Cooper runs for president, and he would be surprising tough to beat if the political landscape is favorable to his style.

The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19
Governor replied to Hedge's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
“China has been working very hard to contain the Coronavirus. The United States greatly appreciates their efforts and transparency. It will all work out well. In particular, on behalf of the American People, I want to thank President Xi!” “I spoke with President Xi. We had a great talk. He’s working very hard, I have to say. He’s working very, very hard. And if you can count on the reports coming out of China, that spread has gone down quite a bit. The infection seems to have gone down over the last two days. As opposed to getting larger, it’s actually gotten smaller.” -
The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19

I think it’s really weird that people(my friends included) didn’t see this coming. Not getting a vaccination was never going to be an option for 99 percent of us. -

Yup……and your health insurance will require it also. Employers Can Require Covid-19 Vaccine Under Federal Law, New Guidance States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission says federal laws don’t prevent an employer from requiring workers to be inoculated https://www.wsj.com/articles/employers-can-require-covid-19-vaccine-under-federal-law-new-guidancestates-11622230319?redirect=amp#click=https://t.co/9KtTqmlZ8L -
Also this…. https://www.democracydocket.com/2021/05/sen-schumer-to-force-h-r-1-vote-in-june/ WASHINGTON, D.C.—In a letter to the Democratic caucus, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer announced that he plans to bring the For the People Act to the floor of the Senate for a vote in June. Although Senate Democrats had promised to vote on the landmark election legislation before the August recess, no solid date for a floor vote had previously been announced. Schumer outlined the upcoming Senate agenda, emphasizing that while the caucus has attempted to pass key legislation along bipartisan lines, it has “also seen the limits of bipartisanship and the resurgence of Republican obstructionism.” The Majority Leader announced that the final working week of June would see a floor vote for H.R. 1, stating “…the Senate will vote on S.1, the For the People Act, legislation that is essential to defending our democracy, reducing the influence of dark money and powerful special interests, and stopping the wave of Republican voter suppression happening in the states across the country in service of President Trump’s Big Lie.”

The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19
Governor replied to Hedge's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
It’s a tough balancing act. When the topic is politics, I want to hear from people who actually have experience and know what they’re talking about, as opposed to people like Jesse Waters, Kat, that idiot Greg guy, a drunk lady judge, and Sean Hannity. The problem is when that overlaps into other news topics. I don’t want to hear what Howard Dean thinks about the origin of Covid. Young guns are also using to the networks to audition for jobs in WH administrations. I don’t like that. Half of Trump’s administration were regulars on FOX. I would put the Fairness Doctrine back in place and cable news goes away. -

You often hear Trumpers say that the pandemic killed Donald. What those people fail to realize is that any other president/politician would’ve used that crises to their advantage and had numbers in the mid 60’s going into Election Day with good leadership. Nope. Not Trump. He did every single thing wrong the entire way through. He sabotaged his own election. Team Trump knew he was toast. All of their internal polling said that. No one on that campaign was surprised that he lost. The only state they didn’t poll correctly was Georgia. They knew Pennsylvania was gone long before Election Day came.
