  1. Formula for how the President's Trophy helps win the Stanley Cup. A. Benefit of the square root of sweet **** all plus B. Benefit of the cube root of jack **** plus C. Benefit of the pigheadedness of determining to try to grab all the points you can in the total waste of time that the regular season is in 2019, for teams making the playoffs anyway less: D. energy wasted by failure to employ load management, or I can't bother to play more than 2 games in 10 days, i'm a star
  2. But they won the Presidents Trophy, greatest team ever....
  3. Ted Kennedy was ruined in 1980 when he was asked why he wanted to be the President and he didn't have anything close to an answer at the ready. or Papa Romney's brainwashing on the other side...
  4. if a geek/nerd/dork ever used that they would be maced and carted off to maximum security
  5. Like when the 1989 earthquake occurred and Irv had an exclusive interview with his son in San Francisco, who worked at a record shop gave us a laugh at school the next day, nothing wrong with that....
  6. it won't be the same until a drunk robot out of spite sabotages the line so the company has to stop production for a week
  7. sort of strange that not a single rule is imposed on people claiming this denomination one friend just went in with his new fiancee and got his first marriage (20 years and 4 kids) annulled on the spot, like it never happened, it was a mistake... wow, that's living easy
  8. welll..... until the Pats are really dead and done....
  9. not a shred of dispute there you never know though, he might like a few more paychecks before having to get a real job in sales
  10. gotta grow up someday, move into this as well...
  11. The NFL suffers from giving us only national TV broadcasters for games, they have no clue about the teams outside of 3 questions asked of the GMs as research for the game. Moving this into baseball is terrible, especially acting like I care about a double in the Seattle/Twins game, cutting into live action in the Yankees game. Nobody cares, ESPN..... i know you've mortgaged 20 years of your company into making MLB regular season an exciting new mass movement...
  12. the homeliness and small insider banter of local telecasts warms the cockles of my heart Ron and Gary mocking Keith's 200th commitment to shedding 10 pounds is always welcome, with a new King Cone dispenser in the press room. i go back to Harry Caray doing the 7th inning stretch with the White Sox, somehow the AM station came through to Southern Ontario, Harry and Jimmy Piersall were amazing to listen to. During a bad game Harry would let Jim carp on and on about how the whole franchise blows, then ask about Jim's recent dates. I swear JP called a woman a very very bad word one night, leading to him being away for 10 days. Jimmy had issues...
  13. nice to have warm fuzzies about the QB and going forward
  14. it's okay to focus on them a bit, obsessing about the Niners would be stranger.
  15. good move! i try to avoid the sun if i can, i know how it shines for 12 MLB baseball stadiums like the back of my hand
  16. fair enough, i'd let you hold to thinking it was for Jaco, but he wasn't the kind of cat to get a civic-minded group to name a park about him i go for stuff like that on vacation, Arlington is a haunt for most trips to DC, last time i took a picture of a Civil War grave with a small Confederate flag planted in front of it. Turns out if was a Union Soldier... The University of Buffalo was a good place as well as it surprisingly houses the works of some composers and writers or gave professorships to a few people of interest to me.
  17. named after the prison that held most radicals in California 50 years ago?
  18. cool, stick around it's mostly conservatives here, most libs on here are brainless and keep ignoring obvious questions and answers, but some are good contributors. it must be tough going through This Depression for lefties and liberals.
  19. i feel sorry for those who cannot "get" Trump winning every day
  20. Did not know he was from there, from the excellent article in GQ i enclosed i recall he grew up in Florida?? I commend your quirks on historical siteseeing! They seemed to be in Montreal or Quebec City annually back in the late 70s early 80s
  21. that's not far from my normal reaction i'm eligible and have no game whatsoever, and want to be left alone thanks....
  22. welcome aboard!! Trump is better than any candidate that has or will face him in a Presidential Election hard to figure it, I barely can, but that too is reality
