i watch both equally and sometimes it gets confusing
this year i learned in NCAA that breaking the plane of the EZ is enough for both rushing and receiving TDs, no contact with the ground is required
(a college kid leaping and catching the ball breaking the plane was then pushed and landed on the two, maybe he fumbled it as well...) anyways it was a TD for college purposes
had never seen that before
in the NFL for a definitive TD reception, you have to make a football move, 4 steps, carry the ball back to the bench and it's only a TD when you place it securely in your trophy case at home
