Yes, I'm in prisons regularly. They eat because of taxpayer money. There are laws dictating comfort temperatures ranges. Those are state to state, but none are as low as 60. Bob Barker uses 100% incarcerated labor? I thought they were a supplier? You just feel entitled to 100% of your paycheck, ignoring that gainful employment in most cases is a product of a community structure. We are humane with our incarcerated and it takes taxpayer money. The whole "not paying for your bad decisions" rhetoric is tired. When applied to healthcare, many conditions have nothing to do with decisions. Self over community is shallow. Progressives are in the same boat only their demands are different.

There is so much wrong with this. What happens if this prison business doesn't turn a profit. Do the prisoners not eat? Does the HVAC not get repaired/upgraded? What exactly is this business model? Another fantastic libertaritard idea.

You seemed to know enough to push rhetoric that Trump will somehow get America working again. I grant the statistics are far from perfect, but are still useful to show relative figures over time. Any metric you use points to relatively healthy employment levels.

My ticket rep called me to apologize in response to an email I sent. Said there was more engagement on social media platforms. Told me they were shocked at how much blowback they got. Also told me Chris Brown's blog a day after the fact adequately alerted fans to the move. I respectfully disagreed with almost everything he said.

I feel like this is a response to the Christie fiasco earlier, but I am a cynical person.

It was a response to the criticism of the left for creating "conspiracy theories" when the right's behavior over eight years has begotten this behavior now. Shame on the democrats for stooping to the childish antics of their opponents in general, but we don't know that's the case here yet.

I had a freind who I have since had to write off completely. He was eating up fake news long before "fake news" was a thing. He has, and continues, to push theories of Hillary engaging in literal devil worship, sex crimes, near death, etc. He also crusades for Obama planning and executing the great "Sandy Hook Story". (all actors) Sorry if my eyes are rolling out of my head about the conspiracy theories of the left.

I skimmed this thread, so I apologize if it was already mentioned, but I have memories of Ames from when I was very young. I remember there being complimentary bags of popcorn to help yourself to while shopping. I loved going there as a kid for the popcorn while my Mom was shopping.

I don't even jog/run for exercise, just isn't my thing. I do enjoy long walks with my dog. I often walk at Delaware park (for those familiar with Buffalo). I park my car on Nottingham to walk over the bridge going over the 198 and that's obviously also the path for bikers. I do my part and walk to the right along the rails. Sometimes my dog pulls to the other side when she's having fun on her walk. Hipster doofus cyclists take issue with this and ring their bells. This isn't a problem. My problem is the head/hand shaking and smart comment that always follows. "You need to watch out guys" (Head shake) The feelings amount to the worst road rage imaginable. I'm WALKING. I'M TRYING TO ENJOY THE LOVELY DAY. SLOW DOWN AND AVOID ME. ARE YOU TRAINING FOR THE TOUR DE FRANCE? NO? F OFF THEN. I literally yell "shut up" towards them now. They keep peddling away because hipsters are cowards at the end of the day. I lived in Brooklyn for three years. I have even worse stories living there, including nearly destroying a cyclist who ran a red light as I was going through an intersection...then waved his hand at me. I almost followed him.

I'm biased against cyclists, have had nothing but terrible experiences with them. I'm getting angry just thinking about them all.

I also think it's funny that along racial demographics, libertarians are predominantly white. Racial population trends are not in your favor either.

Yes, you are very principled we get it. But who isn't being marginalized? What tired rhetoric not moving off of principles is. We have a few hundred million Americans. Everyone is marginalized, it's called living in a community. Yes, yes, yes the equally tired rhetoric of being elected to represent a base's ideologies will follow. Last I checked, those people are elected to serve that groups best interest. Digging in and refusing to give an inch doesn't accomplish that in the real world. You get cut out. Getting some of what you want is more than getting none. It's called a divisional strategy. The libertarian base is the most entitled base of all.
