  1. Agreed. But like it or not the QB gets the stat for interceptions. Josh may be right there with Elway as the most physically talented QB ever. But he can play smarter and be even better, as every guy on offense can as well. Let’s hope Brady can light a fire.
  2. I believe if you look at it one of the stats that have passed the test of time is that teams that lose the turnover battle lose games. And yes, other people make mistakes and are held accountable. Josh should be no different. True about Kelly. Also true that we never won a SB with him as great as he was.
  3. Josh is a great talent. All rational Bills fans want him here for a long time. But it is also absolutely true that he needs to stop turning the ball over so much. He is not immune to criticism.
  4. Turnovers cost games. That is truth. Your QB can’t be leading the league in turnovers. We’ll see if Brady helps. Every guy in the offense should look in the mirror and ask what they can do to be better. And that includes Allen. My fear is that no matter who the OC is Josh is not going to learn or accept the concepts. We hired the guy he wanted in Dorsey and it failed. If the same thing happens with the next guy when does it stop?
  5. Again the truth hurts. You think Josh is a hero and can do no wrong. It is evident from your posts. You have never to my knowledge said anything negative. Even in this thread you try to justify his high turnover rate by saying the defense should get more turnovers, as if one has to do with the other. Josh is a great talent. Every Bills fan wants him here his entire career and to succeed. But he has flaws to be corrected. Brady once said he wanted to be coached hard. Shouldn’t Josh get the same?
  6. I forget you are just blindly in hero worship mode. We’ll see what Brady does. Maybe we’ll see better balance in calls and such. But a talent like Allen should not lead the league in turnovers. Simple.
  7. He has got suckered into that pass three times for picks. Give me a number- how many times should he throw a pick on that route before you’ll say he was wrong?
  8. Great, he leads in TDs. But we are still losing games and part of that is turnovers. One stat that has stood the test of time is that teams with more turnovers lose. Josh is a great talent, but he is too prone to making dumb plays. The truth hurts.
  9. Sorry but Josh needs to take responsibility for his issues too. Look at the second pick last night. That is the third time this season he’s been suckered into that throw and he does not learn. Fourth and 1 and he throws 10-1( yards downfield instead of just running for the yard when he had room. Glad Dorsey’s gone, and hopefully Brady can do better. But when your QB leads the league in turnovers that’s on him to fix.
  10. Miller should retire. He is a shell of his former self.
  11. It is not a binary question. Brady gets his audition for OC now. We see how that goes. If we finish with 0-2 more wins then probably time to start new. If we get going then no.
  12. I texted my daughters last night that I’m not even mad. It’s been clear for a while this team just doesn’t have it this year.
  13. This team simply does not have it this year. Injuries on defense are a legitimate excuse. But here are the non-legitimate ones: 1. Coaching: Dorsey does not grasp the simple concept that you go with what works until the other guy proves he can stop it. Last night should have been all about running the ball. But he dicked around instead. Special teams coach should have made sure to kick it away from Mims, and the 12 men on the field is obvious. But as HC McD is responsible for it all, and he along with many on his staff are failing at their jobs this season. 2. Josh: Sorry but as much as his completion percentage was high and such going into the game, he is not playing well this year. Blame it on coaching, a supposed pregnant waitress, doing commercials, whatever, but he has frankly sucked in several games this year including last night. You cannot be successful with a QB that turns the ball over so much. 3. Stupidity: The 12 men on the field is emblematic of an issue the team has had all year. The stupid penalties, stupid clock management, stupid play calling, you name it. Dumb teams do not win, and this team is dumb. sometimes you have to take a step back to take two steps forward. This season is a huge step back.
  14. I’m not even sad. We just don’t have it this year. Even if they score and pull out the win it doesn’t really matter much.
  15. Should have been another pick. And now the special teams suck.
  16. If I’m McD I walk over to Josh and scream at him to get his head in the game.
  17. Josh stinks tonight. Let’s call it what it is.
  18. Third time he’s been suckered into that interception this year. He has to be smarter.
  19. This is just sad.
  20. Miller is just running right into the tackle. No moves, nothing.
  21. Just don’t have it this year
  22. Correct. Just be prepared that odds are it won’t work.
  23. If for some reason we let McD go them he might be attracted to come work with Josh. But I don't think McD is going anywhere. Dorsey maybe, but not McD.
  24. There is no way of knowing whether successful NFL coordinators can be successful HCs. More times than not they aren't.
