  1. One game where Josh went temporarily insane in the second half. One game.
  2. Sharing team info is less of an issue that joking around about one player? Seriously?
  3. Love Josh as we all do, but he stunk last week. And it was him trying to do too much on his own again. Take the fumble, he tries to grab the ball and advance it. Just fall on the damn thing.
  4. She was joking around. It is not her fault star NFL WRs as a group might be the biggest divas on the planet.
  5. Don’t give me this crap that Dorsey won’t help him. Guys were open. We all love Josh but he stunk last week. I’m sure he’ll bounce back but teams are playing them now to stop the deep ball and he needs to be smart and take what’s there.
  6. Last night I was listening to a show with Starks and Lance Medow. Almost turned it off because Medow to me is an annoying twerp. Anyway, they are talking about our last drive before OT and the twerp is asking Starks why we took a couple shots down the field instead of gaining a few more yards to give the kicker a shorter field. And Starks comes up with a gem: that it showed we had no faith in our kicker and that it was a further sign of dissension on the team. Well. Max, did it occur to you that they took a shot or two downfield to win, knowing that if it didn’t work they had complete faith in their kicker from 50 yards? A faith that was jystified? The incessant need to fill 24/7 radio with guys to spout off opinions is either hysterically funny or ridiculous. Not sure which.
  7. I think it hit me because it suggests he refuses to listen to his coaching staff. They have preached all season to protect himself and not take unnecessary hits but did so for no reason there.
  8. We have no idea how much work he puts in. Don’t listen to rumors. Plus you can’t watch TV for more than 30 minutes without seeing a Mahomes commercial.
  9. Josh can be elite and win Lombardi's, but he needs to do what Brady and Manning (and now Mahomes) learned and take the easy throws. It has nothing to do with coaching, it has to do with him realizing what wins and what doesn't. We'll be a playoff team again this year, and once you get there you always have a chance.
  10. Had two guys he could have flipped the ball to for a first down
  11. We all love Josh. Yesterday was an aberration, but clearly he needs to accept that less us sometimes more. I would try two things: 1. Have the team leaders sit with him, tell him they have his back, but that he has to play the offense as designed 2. Bring the Manning brothers in (or Brady) for skull sessions and show him where he’s making bad reads.
  12. First they can’t afford Allen. Second having a different OC only works if Josh is going to actually listen and run the plays that are called. Running plays OK; Dorsey should not be running Cook that much inside. But pass plays Josh is presented options and he needs to make the read and get the ball out. Which he did not do well last night.
  13. And my point is you ridiculously over exaggerate when you say each played like garbage. You have decided the theee guys there stink so if anything goes wrong you’re going to blame those three guys regardless. Last night’s game was lost because of Josh.
  14. Yes, he should have gotten the ball out sooner. But when he didn't the answer is not to try and hurdle two guys 5 yards short of the marker. That is the point; he has to be smarter than that. This was a low scoring game, a punt is not a bad play. Pin them back and come out again instead of putting yourself at risk of getting hurt.
  15. Ok,IF he said this there is no defense. But we'll see where things go from here. Terry will have to address this privately with the team.
  16. You are not hurling two guys 5 yards from the marker and getting the first. Just not happening.
  17. The play that showed me we were in trouble last night was the one where Josh tried to jump over two guys when he was 5 yards from getting a first down. What concerns me is that Josh is not either listening to what the coaches are telling him or is sometimes unable to control his play with respect to what the coaches are telling him. The entire off season McD, Dorsey (and Beane) have talked about how they want to get Josh to where he is not running the ball as much, and where is not taking unnecessary risks to his body while out there. Trying to hurdle not one, but two guys, and not at the yardage marker, but 5 yards before it, shows just a stunning inability to process that kind of info. I love Josh. I think as fans we all love Josh and what he brings to the table with his talent. But as much as folks have wanted to harp about the O line (which held up OK against a very good D line), Bernard (didn't cost us the game by any means), Dorsey's play calls (is it the calls, or is Josh not going where he needs to go), this team will only win when its QB accepts that he needs to play under control. After last night I am beginning to question whether Josh can do that. and if he is simply not listening to the coaches, then the answer to me isn't changing coaches. It's sitting his butt down for a bit or having the other leaders on the team get in his face and demand better.
  18. They ran two TEs a lot. So other than maybe Murray for Cook (which they also did), how exactly does the OC make the QB recognize what he needs to do and do it? It is OK to blame Josh for last night and still see him as the mainstay of the franchise. He stunk last night and lost the game for the team. The odds are he won't have a game near that bad the rest of the year. No. I'm sure Dosey is not talking to him about any of this. Come on.
  19. Explain how you "rein him in"? Dorsey called plays that had guys open. But he can't make Josh throw the ball to the right guy. I felt the draw call in OT was bad. But that game never should have went to OT. and that's on the QB who turned it over 4 times.
  20. Honestly, if he comes out against the Raiders and does the same stuff I'd sit him down for a series or two.
  21. If Josh had gotten his head out of his own butt there would not have been an OT. No, you need the QB to see where the throw should go and make the throw.
