  1. The NFL and its owners should be ashamed to have let this game be played. They gave the Ravens 5 days to get over a Covid outbreak but made the Broncos play without a QB. There is no rational explanation other than $$$.
  2. What will you complain about if we win a playoff game or two? We are not ready yet to win a SB in all likelihood. We don' t have the sustained pass rush to deal with Mahomes yet, and Josh is still learning although he's made tremendous strides this season. But we will be a tough out for any of the other AFC teams. McDermott has gotten the team to the playoffs 2 out of 3 seasons, and likely 3 out of 4. I'm glad we have him.
  3. The OP only cares about having a 300 yard passing game. Wins don't matter to him and he has stated so. All he cares about is being entertained. He would have rather seem Josh throw for 305 yesterday with a Chargers win.
  4. Yes they should have played better. Yes there were some stupid plays in the fourth quarter. Yes they probably lose to the Chiefs if they play the way they played today. Yes there are a couple posters in this thread who claim to be fans if the team but from all appearances want them to lose and/or refuse to see anything positive in this team.
  5. Why the hell did we not double team him?
  6. OK boys, let's matriculate the ball down the field!
  7. A private business decides on its own policies and that’s socialism. Right.
  8. Well, I’m independent and as near as I can tell not one piece of factual evidence has been put forth in any court yet by Trump and his minions. List the specific evidence and facts that have been or pipe down and accept reality.
  9. It should not surprise anyone if Trump and his family members are indicted in NYS on January 21st.
  10. If I was an older reporter about ready to retire, I think I’d just go right back at him, tell him he should act like a President, quit lying to the people and stop being a narcissistic ass.
  11. Mueller was clear that they would have brought charges if allowed to do so under DOJ policies.
  12. ESPN is a classic example of a company that figured out what is was doing right, then fixed it.
  13. Thinking back to the day Mahomes had a lot of supposed negatives. Played in the spread all the time, concerns about footwork, and such. With very very few exceptions no one foresaw how good he would be. And now in hindsight you have all these folks saying they knew he’d be the bomb. Kind of similar to Josh. How many people blasted him when he came out, inaccurate, small college pedigree, etc. and now hail him as a savior of the franchise? I wanted Watson in the Mahomes draft. But as it turns out I’m happy we got Josh and Tre.
  14. The real fix that is needed is to ensure that every citizen in this country eligible to vote actually votes. Even with the record number voting this year there are still far too many of our fellow citizens who do not do their constitutional duty. And part of the reason is the machinations by a certain party to deny some voters access. All votes should be verified as being submitted by the correct individual. That can be done by identifying signatures, or by checking IDs when voting in person.
  15. I see him making the semis but not the Hall. Tasker on the other hand is the best to do what he did in the history of the game; those are the type players that should be in the Hall.
  16. Bennett the Hall of Very Good. Tasker, the best special teams player ever (non-kicker or return guy), a guy who changed the course of many games, should be in the Hall without question.
  17. I’d go with Faneca. More dominant at his position and for a longer time.
  18. Great player. It’s sad to see so many players from my youth passing on.
  19. Have a ton of them: Mike Stratton George Saimes Wray Carleton Billy Shaw Tipper Day Tony Greene Just for starters
  20. Not a chance. He is a starting QB; just needs to find an actual football team to play for.
  21. Fits throws into double coverage. Ahhh the memories...
  22. Cheatriots lost. I’m so sad. Too many emotions to say anything more.
  23. Pete Gogolak-3 Jim Kelly-12 Booker Egerson-24 OJ-32 (not that I like him but he was the best I ever saw) Thurman a close 2nd Tony Greene -43 (I think?) Mike Stratton - 58 Billy Shaw - 66 Tom Sestak - 70 (Bruce a close 2nd) Andre Reed - 83 Cornelius Bennett - 97 and Kyle - 95 Tie
