  1. Ok, as for the MLB position I offer this challenge: 1. For those saying they made a mistake not keeping Edmunds, show posts from the past several years indicating you felt he was the right guy, and also show how you would have offered him a competitive contract (equal to what the Bears gave him) and how you would have made it fit under the cap. Be sure to show what players you would have gotten rid of. 2. For those now saying they should have made another move to get a veteran MLB, name the veteran and how we would have attracted him (not like the Bucs guy that didn't want to move his family. Explain the contract you would have offered, and again how you would have fit that under the cap, what other players you would have cut etc. 3. Assuming you did one of the two, then show by past posts or whatever that you were OK with them not doing anything at RT as an example, or 2nd WR. Or if you were going to replace not just MLB but RT and 2nd WR explain who would have been the upgrades and how you would have dealt with the cap. Why am I asking this? Because this is what Beane had to face. Easy for fans to sit to the side and complain. I think they will approach MLB with Dodson starting, but a healthy dose of Rapp and a lot of 4-1-6 looks.
  2. Name them. In order. And when you do then also figure out how you would have fit them under the cap.
  3. As much of a degenerate scumbag as he is now, there was nothing like watching him live at the Rich.
  4. Because he wants to
  5. I think the Gouriage kid has a ton of potential. And a healthier Brown will be fine.
  6. Dodson will “start” at the one LB spot but there will be a lot of moving parts there. You’ll see Rapp on the field with 5 other DBs a lot. You may see 3 LB spots with Klein in with Dodson and Milano, or Williams instead of Klein. You’ll see Bernard once he gets over his hammy. And so on. I suspect McD learned a bit from Frazier’s defensive calls that it was time to shake things up and get more unpredictable. Whether it works or not remains to be seen but there’s a lot of talent on that side of the ball.
  7. We are going to be releasing guys that are going to immediately play on other teams, especially at WR.
  8. I have never been there. The domes I have been to including Indy and Detroit are sterile. I like outdoors and weather , and if you don’t fine.
  9. Was moving my daughter back to college yesterday so watching the replay now. Couple quick impressions: 1. D line looks good, ton of depth 2. We have at least 9 WRs that are NFL players. 3. Torrence and McGovern are going to make the O line a lot better. 4. Dodson will be OK. Not great by any means but OK. 5. Dorsey is emphasizing short dump offs and the backup QBs got the message 6. Williams will be a good LB down the road, very active. 7. Having 3 guys competing for one CB spot is a helluva lot better than just 1. We have 4 CBS that can play outside. 8. Great to see Damar out there making plays 9. Give Boettger an injury settlement. And let Gouriage get some reps against better D linemen - liked what I saw from him.
  10. There’s likely no stadium is the NFL that makes sense from a fiscal standpoint, especially when public funds are used. But having a pro football team, especially in Buffalo, is part of the psyche for the region. Hard to put a firm cost on that.
  11. And sterile. We all get to have opinions Einstein. The one in Indy where I live is really sterile even though there’s windows on one end.
  12. Agreed. But my friend lost family members to the mob so I get where he’s coming from
  13. Dodson starts without question. But you will see a lot of looks where he is out and Rapp comes in as a 6th DB with Milano as the one LB.
  14. This stacked seating stuff reminds me of comments way back in the day when the Aud was renovated and the Oranges were added. People felt there’d be massive accidents because the stairs were steep and you wouldn’t be able to see the action. But of course they sold out. Same will happen for the new stadium. I think domes are sterile.
  15. That is crap. In this very thread I said Frazier and McDermott were to blame for 15 seconds. And when you claim there’s unanimity that Williams can’t be a MLB it took me 5 minutes to find several sites that say he could. And talking about Beana and McD having halos is kind of the definition of a tantrum.
  16. Not saying I agree. Just what the folks here are saying.
  17. I live just north of Indy. Fans here are hoping he's the next Josh.
  18. The only one I can remember is New Jersey.
  19. I looked up the requirements. The NFL states you have to have hotel space equivalent to 35% of the stadium occupancy plus additional hotel space for the teams, league officials, dignitaries, and such. And I think they want them within an hour of the stadium. So you have I believe 65k seats planned for the new stadium so that’s 22750 seats. Add in teams, dignitaries, and such round it off to 30k. I don’t think we have that. Maybe if you throw in Motel 6’s and such. I would have preferred a downtown venue but that would have required a lot of funding for relocation and razing of space which may have affected the deal.
  20. And that has to do with where the ball was squibbed as the KC coach indicates. Your ability to grasp variables is stunningly absent. And it does not change that the D crapped on itself, which is the main reason they lost. And it doesn’t not change the fact that Dodson will be MLB which is what this thread was about until you decided to argue another unrelated point.
  21. Was that a short squib or not. Because a short sequin as the KC coach said you take 4 seconds and run it to the 40. From there one play gets you in FG position. Your problem is you have no understanding of variables. You want everything black and white in a world of greys.
  22. And if they had fallen in it then your experts would have been wrong. The Bills lost that game because they did not do whatever to stop their receivers from catching the ball with 13 seconds left. They could have held them, taken a couple 5 yard penalties, and game over. Instead Kelce did what he wanted. And that’s on Frazier and McD.
