  1. Fant played scared most of this season. That’s a major red flag. As a Hawkeye fan, I cringe to think that this team could have been in the B1G championship game if a guy with Fant’s skill actually wants to be on the field. One additional comment... Fant wasn’t even the best TE on his team - TJ Hockenson is the better TE and is very similar to a George Kittle.
  2. I am a huge Iowa Hawkeyes fan. The Bills need to stay away from Fant.
  3. I am a die hard Hawkeye fan. I pray that the Bills stay away from Fant. I can already tell you how Fant will play out as a pro: he will flash as a rookie, receive lots of hype, underperform until his contract year, and then he will flash again when the money is on the line. He played this entire season to not get hurt. the REAL TE on the Hawkeyes is TJ Hockenson. He is a George Kittle clone in terms of playing style. Great blocker, great hands, and an underrated athlete. Plus he gives great effort and is consistent. Fant disappears and is inconsistent. It sickens me what that team could have done this year if Fant was not playing scared. He’s a great talent, but playing not to get hurt is a HUGE red flag, IMO. (edit to clarify last sentence)
  4. I thought Stanford played admirably until that last drive.
  5. I completely understood where Jerry was coming from on that play and just shook my head. There is something terribly wrong with that situation and it needs to be rectified very, very soon.
  6. All I know so far is that Josh Allen has moxie.
  7. What do the other 10% want?
  8. It seemed less about sucking and more about being uninspired. Can’t let something like that go - glad McD corrected it promptly.
  9. Could you elaborate on this? At first, I just passively read it and agreed. Then, I began to disagree. Then I REALLY started to disagree, but I’m not quite 100% sure why I disagree. Just wondering what exactly brings you to this conclusion that McDermott is not forward thinking.
  10. Where’s Marv?! He had some good ones, didn’t he?
  11. I feel the exact opposite of this article. For the first time in a long time I feel like there is a plan in place that the entire organization has embraced.
  12. I would be interested in seeing this stat when Carson’s Wentz was under center for this same coach. I know they had the same head coach... not sure about OC. It would not surprise me at all if they too had a high percentage of runs. This is an offensive system stat, nothing more.
  13. I don’t think this front office has a great feel for what the offense will need now that the QB and OC have changed. That probably factors into these decisions in a big way. On the other hand, they know exactly what the D needs. They know what players have a good shot because they fit what the Bills are trying to do on that side of the ball. The offense is still too much of an unknown. Just a hunch.
  14. Each and every one of these players has the right to not play the game. They aren’t being forced into any of this. Quite the contrary, they have each - to a man - chosen this... and we love them for it.
  15. Eli has two rings. Both were in W’s over the Patriots*. I can’t look past that: Eli Ben Rivers
  16. Making room to pay for more rookie salaries from all the picks the Bills are about to give them?!
  17. Get a QB and the number of available serviceable WR problem will solve itself! ...so I guess I am in the let him test FA camp.
  18. Which of these QB prospects has the brain?
  19. HA! Thank you, I needed that laugh!
  20. James Daniels, Center, Iowa
  21. Well done, sir. Well done indeed!
  22. That was a really good read! Stopping this ATL offense is going to be the Bills' D's biggest challenge to date.
  23. Cam missed McCaf on previous drive too. I dunno. Bills O needs to get better.
