  1. consider yourself off the christmas card list.
  2. i really wonder where ideas like that are born.
  3. jewel of the nile, but close.
  4. i thought you'd be taller! anyone?
  5. the stinky farm! we're actually a bit up the road by casa larga. it's an interesting area. it's extremely busy due to the mall and shopping in the area, but has a number of street around it with land. you get some space and can get to anything in about 3-4 minutes. the only time it rubs me the wrong way is during christmas. the traffic is insane because of the mall.
  6. we looked and bid in cobblestone, and i'm so happy we didn't get a house there. it just wasn't my thing. i hear it can be uppity, and they've managed to squeeze these large houses on small lots. there's no elbow room. we found a two acre lot on the top of turk hill and love it as we have some space but are still in the middle of everything. around here it's always the taxes. to get the same bang for your buck, you do have to move at least 30 minutes away as i think you mentioned.
  7. what's going on in victor and farmington now is shocking. we live in the perinton/victor area, and when we were looking in victor, we were once outbid on a house by 30k. it's gross. i actually bought land in farmington a few years ago and built an office there. for 2 acres of commercial land it was less than 40k. for comparison, a lot behind us that's 2 acres (residential) sold for 150K. the were just about giving land away in farmington and people jumped it. in the area where i build, there was nothing there 3 years ago. just trees and weeds. now on my short street, they've build 6 or 7 large apartment complexes, (another one coming), a new bank, and they just cleared land for another track that will contain homes and town homes. it's massive...all along the 332. victor and farmington share a school district, and it's my understanding that now more than 50% of the students come from farmington.
  8. the housing in wny is interesting now. as some have mentioned, there's so little inventory that there seems to be a bidding war once something pops up on the market, especially starter homes. if you aren't willing to place an offer for a house the first, maybe second day on the market, you aren't getting the house. be ready to be non-contingent, over bid, wave the inspection, etc. it's strange for around here. in my area, we've found that older couples aren't moving out. some of the school enrollment has even taken a hit because of it. the only reason a house sits on the market here is if it's over prices, or if it's above that 550/600,000 range. the bigger/more expensive houses can be had for a great deal now. just have to put up with the taxes. suck it @Gugny.
  9. if you need attention, we can just talk. don't feel you need to go about it this way.
  10. Is it me or is this thread wildly predictable?
  11. i'm on board with this. i get looking at the schedule and trying to predict difficulty, but it's never cut and dry.
  12. i got ya. i really do like josh as the future, but there's a lot to improve, from both him and the staff. baby steps.
  13. i have a bunch sitting in our back store room. i can wait to sell them at an absurd price.
  14. eh. it's nothing like you're making it out to be. i think right now both san fran and buffalo a limited by qb play. i say this as a big fan of allen, but he's not anywhere close to where he needs to be yet. i assume, (and hope) we see an evolution of the offense once JA becomes a more polished qb and a few more weapons are added. as mentioned, people are acting like this is a finish product. we say the same outcry after the 6-10 season only to go back to the playoffs the next. this is a work in progress, and some are having a very tough time with it.
  15. of course, but it still doesn't mean anything is set in stone. you always have a plan until it doesn't work out.
  16. no it's not. no matter how you try to twist this, this is not what's happening. maybe some just don't see the need try cry a few time a week and post the same thread over and over. on top of that, did you ever consider it was josh allen's play that limited what this staff did offensively?
  17. Is your special ingredient tears?
  18. not a single gimp mask on that entire list. who doesn't love that little zipper opening for the mouth.
  19. it was my job as a kid to carry the money to the door to pay the paper boy. made me feel like part of the process.
  20. he's completely disabled from the waist down. he seems like a guy that would want to do everything himself, but just can't. he uses lots of dumbbells and likes to be on the benches, so he needs to be put there. he's not small either. i don't blame you about the movie. when kids act like that you just have to remove them. i have small kids, and sometimes our 20 month old so decides he wants to be loud in a restaurant. i freak out and am ready to carry him out at the first peep, but my wife calms me down, and he ends up being good. as a parent, i don't think anyone should have to listen to my kids make noise other than me. if they can't deal, (or i can't deal) they're out.
  21. he's probably just going out to buy tampons in that pic.
  22. so many of us thought the same thing. as soon as the trade happened, we thought...sweet. here comes mack!
