  1. now a days you can just ghost someone. breaking up has never been move convenient! also, have you had veal saltimbocca? it may be a notch above veal piccata.
  2. i love veal piccata too. every so often i'll order veal, but it has to be from a very specific restaurant or two. one place around here does it on the bone, and it may be one of the best things on their menu. my wife won't eat veal either, but she doesn't flinch when i do.
  3. i doesn't taste the same to me without the veal. i have it every so often, and it tends to be a bit too dry. people just bailed on the veal aspect, which i understand.
  4. if i'm correct on this, (and i very well may not be) the old schools in our family had veal as part of it, and there was a hard boiled egg in the center.
  5. you doing the egg/veal and everything?
  6. this movie crossed my mind this week for some reason, and it's absolutely fantastic. also underrated is "hot to trot".
  7. Merry Christmas buddy. I’m going to make you my Tiny Tim.
  8. i am fascinated now about this girl's dating history. i mean...we could go on and on about it.
  9. how do you know i'm not jewish, or celebrate kwanzaa?
  10. thanks for the follow up. i remember the logo specifically. it was a fantastic idea, and it was always fun to read about. i didn't think it was associated with any issues, but i remember posters, (it may have been on very loud poster) that had issues with it.
  11. what i've found is that the majority of the events that take place in the afternoon all have alcohol involved. i had a few beers at disney on ice, and my wife made the decision to drive home. i kept drinking. 13 bucks a beer, but it was worth it. this is the important thing. sure it costs, but there's only so much time where it's worth that extra money. it's now and when we have grandkids. the disney on ice is my parents gig. they love taking the kids to see it. my 82 year old dad gets online the moment those tickets goes on sale, and get the floor seats right up against the ice. they love to spend money on the grandkids, and i won't stop them.
  12. i'm on the opposite end of it. over the last few weeks, i've had christmas spirit shoved down my throat, but in a good way. we have young kids, so this is the window to make it special, and my wife takes that ***** seriously. last weekend alone started with a christmas pageant on thurdsay, dinner followed by a wagon ride light show on friday, followed by brunch with santa and disney on ice on saturday. sunday morning was the 6 and under christmas party at the trampoline park. other weeks have been filled with a polar express train ride, breakfast with the grinch, village christmas fair, etc. it goes on and on and on. it's fun, but i'm just about over it.
  13. my wife bought one of the honey baked hams. i'm already annoyed by it. i'll broil up some lobster tails, and some rando sides. i don't know. what do you want from me?
  14. i just assumed it was a BBMB thing. good question though...i don't remember if there was a controversy there or not.
  15. Just so you know, when we hang out…I’m going to be sitting about an inch next to you.
  16. and kim kardashian passed the baby bar. this world is beginning to turn around.
  17. i've been toying around with a new idea. we need to sign up for tiktok first. then we can unveil my 5 chip challenge. 3 chips will be eaten, one chip will be snorted, and one chip will be taken rectally. then we keep the camera rolling for an hour, and wait to go viral.
  18. i know a number of people who are making the move to SC and georgia over florida. maybe not as warm, but really reasonable winters. it's kid dependent for me to. i'm 44 and have a 6 and a 3 yr old, so i have a long time to plan because i don't think i'd do much until i know their college situation. the gray and wind have been awful here too, but it will be in the 60s tomorrow, so there's that. still...leaving here from january to april sounds glorious. i'll always keep a place up here for the summer and fall, but no way i'm staying here in the winter. if there's ever another major bubble burst concerning real estate down south, i'll consider buying something, and maybe renting it out while i'm waiting for my time to come. i also can't imagine having taxes in the low thousands range. our school taxes here are 5 figures. it sucks.
  19. the stigma is definitely mostly gone. my parents are soon to be 82, and they're fine with it. my brother was in mass for business recently, and picked me up a bunch of product from the dispensary across the boarder. since my dad was going to see me first, my brother gave it to him to drop off. he was fascinated by the packaging and how professional it was. he even gave his 44 year old son the talk about being careful with edibles because he heard they can, "sneak up" on you.
  20. this is exactly where i'm at with it. we may see some new users, but those users strike me as the crowd that will purchase some product, drive home and enjoy themselves...not so much public users. just a hunch. i know there's a place not too far from here that you can buy amazing, homemade edibles. i've also hear there's a store in the area that you can purchase a, "membership", and you can buy whatever you want in the back room. no one seems to care. hell...you could smoke pot at the state fair. you can even smoke at our tiny local kids amusement park. just have to be in a smoking area.
  21. i've also never agreed with the idea that once it's sold in an area, the streets will be flooded with high drivers. i mean there may be a tick up, but you didn't exactly have to be a super criminal before to get your hands on pot in the first place. people who know better won't drive, and others unfortunately won't care. driving high will be like having a few beers at happy hour and driving home. it's not a good idea, but i'm sure you'll see it, (we already see it).
  22. that's a great reference. i'm guessing that towns that have already had their meeting dates but not decision listed, are just waiting for the list to be updated, or i wonder if they don't have to announce a decision at the time of the meeting. i saw one meeting televised, and the entire place erupted in cheers once the decision was made. wait...my question was answered.
