  1. Raiders were sucking on short yardage. With that being said I was thinking the same. Stopping Herbert from scoring a TD was just not going to happen IMO. Might get a safety.
  2. Repeat it one more time and I'll believe you really mean it.
  3. Allen kicks butt in a Dome and runs a finesse Offense IMO. Without the 12th man involved I can definitely see advantages to playing in climate controlled or good weather conditions which by the way is something the Bills may have had up to this point at the Ralph. Not anymore. Do you think it would be good to have Allens arm neutralized in a snow storm vs Derrick Henry? I don't...
  4. Something most teams try to accomplish IMO. Until Beasley starts making them pay. The rookie Gabriel Davis flying under the radar keeps getting better and better... Somethings got to give... Thread topics looking good on the front page of TSW fellas... ...winning...
  5. Traveling is an added distraction and danger this season IMO. I will say Allen in a Dome setting or nice weather conditions on the outside is not such a bad thing. I think Buffalo for the most part runs a finesse Offense IMO. Favorable to good playing conditions. Facing a RB like Derrick Henry in bad weather does not appeal to me... ( or Chubb )
  6. While Josh Allen is not afraid to give his body up for the team the more dangerous aspects of his game from an injury standpoint are occuring with less frequency IMO. Combine that with a very tough, durable body and the Bills back up is unlkely to see any action IMO. Besides that Matt Barkley knows the O well and in all of his previous scattered playing time Barkley has never had a supporting cast and coaching staff as good as Buffalo can give him. Myself personally, Matt Barkley can win football games for the Buffalo Bills IMO. It might be done in a more conservative manner, but it can be done.
  7. I can't speak for Josh Allen , but it would not surprise me If Allen has a little say in who he wants to confide in on the sidelines IMO. Myself personally, Barkley at the very least will play 500 football with the talent around him IMO. If your expecting more then that from him then he probably shouldn't be a backup...( @LeGOATski) Why, to stand on the sidelines?
  8. If you think about it, below the upright with most of the football in, in all likelihood would donk in off the upright IMO. Seems like when its above the upright and that close it should be called good IMO.
  9. I remember how it used to feel back in the day with Jim Kelly at the helm and with a good D backing him up.. We can beat anyone. Any time, any place. During the regular season I looked forward to the tougher matchups with great anticipation. We have Josh Allen now with lots of talent around him. We have McD's D. I'm starting to feel that way again...
  10. I agree, make them stop what you do best 1st before making any adjustments. Josh Allen is good at buying extra time with his legs. I think getting the RB's more involved in the Offense as of late has helped a great deal when it comes to making halftime adjustments IMO.
  11. If Barkleys starting with 2nd and 3rd string players game 16 it does nothing to help the fish vs the Bills in the playoffs IMO. Fish could take a bigger team out round 1 or 2, Myself personally because we are familiar they don't scare me. (Hopefully I won't regret saying that , but its true.) Probably not happening anyway. The Dolphins chances of making the playoffs are slim IMO.
  12. Being familiar with how Fitz or a rookie will perform under pressure is not necessarily a bad thing IMO. Would you prefer trying to stop Chubb, Derrick Henry, or how about Lamar Jackson?
  13. From a game plan perspective it works great If you think about it.
  14. This This, This Until they face us I'm game...( not wishing for a Tua injury )
  15. I agree Brian Daboll is going to get allot of attention and his time under McD gives him a very good example to go by IMO. Brian Daboll in New York coaching up Trevor Lawrence could happen IMO.
  16. and If Carrie Underwood is HC keep it even briefer, I'm just saying...
  17. Nice to look at and we have allot to cheer for right now. Why not?
  18. The thread on the Browns Ravens game thats already started perhaps
  19. Myself personally, I think Barkley with a good D backing him up wins atleast half of his games IMO. Diggs and Beasley will still make catches and the RB's will still produce with possibly a little more of a shift to the run game. I respectfully disagree ScottLaw I like Matt Barkley and believe he shows potential. Getting an accurate assessment of his capabilities through the scattered playing time under bad conditions is hard to do IMO.
  20. Very dangerous team Nobody wants to face them in the playoffs IMO. My most feared teams in the AFC are K C, Titans and Ravens in that order.
  21. Lamar Jackson will never lose his elusivness or accuracy throwing on the run IMO. Extending plays will always be a big part of his game. As a pocket QB Jackson will improve over time IMO. That is the reality...
  22. Roberts intensity is contagious and helps set the tone for the rest of the players. Wild thing, you make my heart sing... ...dragging the line...
  23. As far as records go a DB can still track down a football and take it so its not like that part of the game has really changed much IMO. Teams are bigger, faster, which equates to harder hits. More cumulative. The rule changes are meant to avoid violent collisons that puts players on both sides of the football out of commission IMO. Facing a healthy secondary like Buffalo's will give teams problems in todays game or 20 years ago IMO. Its still a violent game...
  24. The final drive is what good teams do after the fight has gone out of the opposing dog and you chase them away with their collective tails between their not so dancing legs. I can understand why it might be an afterthought in the grand scheme of things. The fight was over by then. What an awesome review OP, after waiting until the wee hours of the morning for it I thought to myself Shaw66 is just taking the time to do this game justice. My most favorite review ever to match one of the most enjoyable Bills games I have seen in ages. Well done my friend.
  25. Number 5 also caught my attention I think Josh Allen might be getting everyones attention.
