  1. You are brain poisoned. “positive impact” lol
  2. I asked for a simple source showing that jobs available were higher than unemployed people. You have never once attempted to make a coherent argument on this forum and you constantly detail any other conversations with nonsense like this.
  3. If you want an example - ports. Countries like China have fully automated ports for loading and unloading ships. It’s much faster. The U.S. will never have this because of the Longshoremen’s Union fighting against it. $22 an hour isn’t dick nowadays.
  4. Sure is weird we do this for Kirk and not the two Minnesota lawmakers that were murdered in their beds by a right winger. Wonder why.
  5. I am not being disingenuous, I’m trying to figure out how what you posted clearly states there are more jobs than unemployed people. Nothing in this: https://www.bls.gov/news.release/pdf/empsit.pdf shows that. And yeah, heavy manufacturing jobs are horrible. They’re unsafe, unskilled and don’t pay much. We should embrace automation for this kind of work. I freely admit I don’t know the hardcore specifics of H1B. I used it as an example of conservatives like Kirk being opposed to foreign immigration and employment in the United States. Im a city planner. I find this stuff more interesting than anything.
  6. I view your policies as incredibly harmful to the nation and limit humanity as a whole So what are you gonna do about it, tough guy?
  7. Kirk was routinely posting against H1B and other legal job seeking.
  8. He was certainly the master of the “LIBS OWNED EPIC STYLE” sound bite compilation.
  9. This supports policy of more skilled immigration to fill the jobs Yeah, but this doesn’t show the jobs available. In fact, it shows a WORSE unemployment rate than the JOLT study I linked.
  10. Again, no disrespect, but nothing you posted disproves the report I linked twice.
  11. Seriously, is he okay?
  12. So is the report I cited wrong? How? There were 7.18 million job openings and 7.24 million unemployed people. This is the governments own data. Respectfully, your own position does not represent the entire nation. https://mises.org/power-market/us-now-has-more-unemployed-people-job-openings To the gang bit, did you read that article? It was interesting. It also said that rural gangs are not formed from the same cloth as urban gangs.
  13. We know. We saw it when Paul Pelosi was attacked.
  14. Imagine if it’s just some guy staggering around trying to find the campus Taco Bell
  15. Your link is data from July whereas my story used JOLT data published this month. Rural vs. urban matters because they’re different environments. Rural environments are more geared towards independent living whereas urban environments foster the gang culture and territories.
  16. I want to educate people to be more liberal, what’s wrong with that?
  17. https://finance.yahoo.com/news/there-are-more-americans-out-of-work-than-there-are-jobs-open-for-the-first-time-since-april-2021-170652412.html Then can you explain this? Where are those poor whites located? I’d bet it’s in rural areas rather than urban ones. And yes, gang culture is a problem. But it’s not inherent to a person when they’re born, it’s shaped.
  18. Yes! But through democratic means and educating people. Not a high powered rifle.
  19. Without it, where would they be? We already know that there are more unemployed people than there are jobs available in the U.S.
  20. Sure, but aren’t those higher percentages of the black population as a whole?
