Not saying your wrong, but where did you hear that about Daboll?
-
meh, its just "rah rah" locker room stuff any team/coach would say after a victory in terrible weather
-
This is going to probably be a super unpopular opinion but I think losing Lee Smith has hurt the offense and locker room. I am not saying he is only difference between 10-2 and 7-5, but him being TE #2 I think would have helped our run game, our red zone offense, and like I said locker room. He is a gritty guy. I think if he is on the team, the Bills probably would at least be 8-4. (His blocking helps create a few more yards running, during a drive) (Maybe instead of a run on first & goal its a PA easy flip to Lee Smith, he bobbles it a little 😉, but still catches it TD!) EDIT: Our passing game too (thinking more along the lines of pass blocking though)
-
Yup I did a similar one with, and I think mine was where after I went through, I flipped a game, and it knocked out a 10-7 Bills team.
-
Fair point Yes, they could still make a deep run. Good match ups and the bounce of the ball, next thing you know your in the AFC Championship. However, I'm more concerned about QUALIFYING for the playoffs first.

I'm not trying to Debbie Down your post. But the Titans, Jags were all suppose to be rallying points too.

I totally (respectively) disagree . This was AWFUL old fashioned football. It would be great if I never had to watch a game I care about involve bad weather again. That includes the Indy snow game which was another gut wrenching game of stupidness. I dont care about heavyweights, slugs, or "old school" machismo.

MYTH Busted: "The Defense couldn't stop the Run"
letsgoteam replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well, if they know they are running then they bring everyone up, there isnt as many people at the 2nd and 3rd levels to stop it from happening. So good blocking and possibly a missed assignment/mistake, could lead to a big run. I see both sides. However, I'm leaning towards the Offense not getting it done. In the end, its just a frustrating loss. The Bills needed to find a way to win. The offense could have done more. Even it was running plays, they could have been a lot more creative. Jet sweeps, qb reads, toss sweeps, JA designed runs. However they did none of that. The Patriots used a 6th lineman on offense over 50% of their offensive snaps. It's amazing. One team had a plan and a strategy offensively, and one team did not. Could anyone here actually tell what the Bills were trying to do offensively last night? Dropped passes and those stupid 1st down red zone handoffs. 1st 10 ball at 20 3 yard gain (I dont hate this one as much, since it was at the 20, even if it had gained 0 yards) 1st & goal at the 6. Handoff, no gain 1st 10 ball at 14. 1 yd gain. -
Did Sean go too far calling out Mckenzie?
letsgoteam replied to Niagara Dude's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agreed. Besides if the "issue" is his returns. Here is an idea, dont have him return kicks and just let him be on offense where he has shown he can a lot of good things. It's like benching Shaq, because the coaches make him bring the ball down the floor as a point guard instead of letting him play in the post. (Granted, is not McKenzie is not a HOF talent Shaq was, but I think everyone should get my point) -
I started it because I wanted to hear thoughts about the Bucs game. Dwelling on this anomaly of a Pats game is beating a dead horse. With that being said, the Bills should have been the one to kill the horse and pulled out a W last night. A lot of things the Bills could have done better, but the next Bills/Pats game will be very different (not saying they will win or lose, but the game will be very different)

I think the D&G is warranted. The team has been a tire fire of self mistakes this season going back all the way to the Bills/Pitt game. The Bills are now on the brink of not making the playoffs. Most people think they can get to 10-7. That might not get it done to qualify, without help in the standings. Maybe they can upset the Bucs or beat the Pats. Finish the season 4-1. MAYBE. However, has this team proved they wouldn't blow a game to the Falcons, Panthers, or Jets in this scenario.

Am I overvaluing the Bucs DL?
-
I don't see anything on the first page. If I am overlooking it, I apologize. Thoughts about the Bills/Bucs game. I have felt this way since the Jags loss, I don't see the game going very well for the Bills. I think the OL is going to get destroyed and I hope JA doesn't get hurt. The Tre White injury hurts. Thoughts?
-
Agree and disagree with you. I too would like to see a normal weather game against the Pats. However, I think the Bucs Dline is going to destroy the OL and hopefully JA doesnt get hurt.

Completely agree -
OK, armchair analysts: How do we fix this offense?
letsgoteam replied to Just in Atlanta's topic in The Stadium Wall
Did the Bills even try a jet sweep or even the jet sweep motion? *Not the super slow Diggs stuff they did a game or two ago* EDIT: Also, when thinking about it, did they even run a toss sweep tonight? -

NO, you HAVE to handoff to a RB up the middle on 1st and goal. It's the rules. -

For the Patriots... as long as you dont field the punt if they get the punt off. -

Jeez, I am NEVER the one who says, "I could do better then that when it comes to professional sports", but man I think I could have played better on that 3rd down murder of JA. -

Yet McKenzie will rot on the inactive list... I know he messed up against the Colts, but goodness
