I think he would still be a Bill, but asked to be traded to be closer to Knoxville. You can even hear him talking about it in the mic'd up.
This may sound crazy but if Lee was on the team this year my guess is that the Bills would have won at least one more game this year.
I imagine a big block somewhere or stealing a TD in the RedZone.
That play made me happy from the standpoint of it is kinda some redemption from last years Arizona game.
I know the play didnt matter per say, and the Bills deflected the one against the Colts. However, I like the symmetry of it all.
I think the non contact is bad luck, it seems (without looking) the Bills have been really lucky with injuries during the McBeane era.
If anyone else has any insight, I'd be interested in hearing that.
I personally believe Lee Smith wanted to be closer to home because he probably wasnt sure if he was going to play this year (just a hunch) but I think the Redzone has missed Lee this year in blocking and the occasional sneak out for a TD.
