  1. Did you even read what I said? I said there's not seven teams in the NFL with a deeper wide receiver core I just went through every single one and there's not We had two all pros at wide receiver last year.. that's far from our problem 70% of the league would give up their wide receiver core for us And at this point we have Allen All pro.. Diggs , all pro... Beasley is coming off an all pro year .. not pro bowl All pro Dawson Knox is a legitimate pro bowl talent.. I bet he makes an all pro team in his career We have an explosive guy in McKenzie And Sanders would still be able to play for most of the league.. and he's the afterthought on our offense Josh , diggs , Cole , Knox , even adding McKenzie and Davis is a core that a lot of the league would love to start their team with.. now if we add a true feature back like a Jonathan Taylor look out We're missing a stud line and a feature back.. we have more wide receiver talent than most the league ..
  2. I'm not doubting our offense is built a certain way But we are literally stacked with route runners and guys who can create separation... Tom Brady had Smurfs his whole career but he could throw to open guys.. Josh has a laser beam and a quick release that could find anybody with two feet of separation And we have a whole bunch of wide receivers that specialize in getting that separation Gabe Davis is our size speed Target.. and so Is knox Those are big targets that can catch the ball down field.. and can out muscle the opposing back Gabe is basically 6'3 and runs a 4.5.. plays faster... and can track a ball down field.. he hasn't shown you anything he can do yet because he's waiting his time Gabe's going to go for a thousand next year
  3. I think Chris Sims is full of it lol There's not seven teams in the NFL with a deeper wide receiver roster.. we're perfectly fine there We're literally coming off of two all pros last year lol Whoever Josh is throwing the ball to will look fine if he has an offensive line to protect it
  4. Cole Beasley has been uncoverable in man on man situations his entire career here.. just been playing Banged up . He's almost never been covered one on one here And Gabe has been very good against man coverage when he isn't banged up either They tried covering him with safeties and backups... A return specialist on not good coverage guys running across the field... That's a recipe for disaster A lot of really good slot corners will be able to take that away, belichick never adjusted Yes McKenzie's dynamic but he's on the low end of the spectrum as far as NFL players.. DK Metcalf as a one-trick pony and Isaiah McKenzie as a one-trick pony are on different planets... One is 6'3 230 and runs a 4.3... One is 5'7 and runs a 4.4 He's dynamic but he's nowhere near one of the fastest or most explosive players in the league.. I like him and he's good.. but he is what he is.. he's capable of playing games like this, but it's the outlier not the norm He won't run by a lot of cornerbacks in the league like he did Sunday.. it was a total mismatch We should game plan touches for McKenzie moving forward but he's usually not out there torching backs left and right Situationally he's very good
  5. I mean he's good but he's basically a two-trick pony Look at his route chart over the last 2 years.. he basically runs two routes.. his athleticism make him very hard to Defend on those 2 routes But he's limited Beasley and Gabe both bring alot more dimensions.. If Mackenzie could ever become a true vertical threat then maybe he will become a true every down threat.. but he's way better in the 15 20 yard range than tracking balls 50 yards downfield He's just another guy that's a perfect scheme fit for what we like to do
  6. Levi is a consummate professional... It takes a rare breed to walk on at Alabama... Fight off 4-5 star guys for years And earn a starting job... he absolutely was given nothing And he has had to earn everything with the bills... Which has turned him into a very smart scrappy player Like Josh Allen says.. I shoot, you shoot with me... Levi is willing to ride
  7. http://www.hipwiki.com/Slime+(Slang+Definition) **Slime is slang for homie, brother, son, and other similar terms. Slime is an acronym which stands for 'Street Life Intelligence and Money is Everything I Forgot this was an AP class
  8. And he got put on the map in like his second or third game as a pro
  9. It just derives from the streets and hip-hop culture It's also used as a acronym Street Life Intelligence Money is Everything It's a inner city word that gangs also use It's not strictly gang affiliated though the bloods do use it
  10. Slime is slang for homie, friend , pal , brother Street slang
  11. Day drinking is always fun
  12. Aaron Rodgers was a zero star Junior college quarterback as well

  16. Hackett was always trashed on message boards but he was severely handicapped by his QB play People in the game thought he was one of the youngest Brightest minds in the game coming up He made Jeff tuel look serviceable
  17. Cheektowaga is like the biggest little city in NY It has it all. The good bad and ugly Unfortunately the galleria has been going this way for a while
  18. If you could pancake the block and releaser that would obviously put a halt to it You could also bracket the TE to make life hell for him ... Chip and bracket could nullify a TE block and release Then you are leaving other WRs with room in the intermediate areas If Josh continues to make correct decisions this wrinkle will only make us harder to defend
  19. Daboll finally has been starting to craft up better plays inside the red zone Utilizing block and release routes to not only give Josh more time but give receivers a free release Gabe Davis scored on one a few weeks ago ... Kunerow was wide open on his block and release route that he dropped Knox has been utilized in this more recently .. THIS is what this passing offense has been missing Scheming players out of the backfield after blocking is one of the easiest ways to free up a player Dawson Knox might have had his best blocking game as a pro against the Patriots.. they left him one-on-one on Josh's roll outs a bunch... And with his size and athleticism just manhandled his opponent These are the types of drawn up plays that we need to continue to execute moving forward
  20. The second he did that I said he pulled a Doug flutie I absolutely believed he called his own number But Dawkins does pinch the guy and let's him go as Josh is bootlegging so it could be designed hand-off or boot
  21. I don't think he's special at all I'm just not someoneto that rips somebody up.. even if I don't like his opinions It's the same as any journalist or celebrity Any press is good There's no such thing as bad press to a journalist.. that's why it's better to let somebody like that fade away
  22. Most sports journalism or talk is pure opinion.. check Colin cowherd or Skip Bayless or Tim cowlishaw or woody Paige .. it's all opinion The fact is he's one of the few AP sports writers in Buffalo And he held the head roll at the news for a long time.. looking back he actually was right a lot more than he was wrong.. because when the bills sucked he said it But Jerry Sullivan wins when NFL players say his name not vice versa.. poyer should give it up because he's way more important than Jerry Sullivan.. he only gives Jerry importance when he talks about him
  23. Long break But SU rolls The buddy and Joe show
  24. People act like it's the Akron news lol We have a major football and hockey team.. plenty of cities can't say that
  25. Everybody and I mean everybody speaks ill will of Jerry Sullivan But the dude was the lead sports columnist at the news for as long as I could remember Because everybody read him whether you loved it or hated it
