Eh I mean he's a professional who basically lost his role playing I definitely sensed disappointment but I didn't sense any true professional tension I've lost my starting job before.. definitely was angry.. maybe I gave the coach a cold shoulder for a day But there is a reason in there .. and it's usually to push a player to a new height Sometimes you need to push some buttons to get results

Maybe 1 or 2 But he also took 40 plus returns.. and only had 20 catches this season So he has a lot more chance to put it on the carpet while returning . McDermott did say it was an issue in practice... And it's hard to give somebody a full load when they are fumbling in practice

Pure football is not in a dome end of discussion I've played coached and scouted for 30 plus years and I've never heard anybody around the game say that pure football has to be played in a dome And Josh allen threw the ball pretty damn well Saturday night .. and I've seen a lot of quarterbacks throw well in not great conditions And I included catching in pure football so throwing is obviously included.. it's part of execution in bad weather.. that's what makes it grand .. it's a beautiful sport We just saw a perfect performance in -5°.. the weather didn't effect Josh

Thats why dome here doesn't even make much sense We only have so many beautiful days a year here in Buffalo I don't want to spend my few nice Sundays in a dome... To be honest When it gets to December January I will brave it out

That has nothing to do with what is pure or not in the game of football What's pure in football is tackling running coaching catching and execution And nothing is more pure than seeing that happen to perfection like on Saturday outside in winter It's Pure magic which makes football the best sport in the world

Yes I made a thread here when we drafted Allen saying his rookie season the thing that's going to save him and surprise us most are his legs I knew he would be a huge running threat cuz when he got moving he's literally like a tight end down field.. hard to stop

I would break this down to a few things First some players play faster than their 40 time.. the juice and adrenaline of a game hype you up Second the offenses that Josh and Lamar Jackson were running were completely different.. Lamar got the benefit from a college offense that ran a spread option Josh was also under center a lot more which makes it harder to run effectively... They weren't running standard read options like is typical in college ball On the flip side.. Josh Allen's JUCO rushing stats were amazing In 8 starts he had 660 yards and 10 TDs 5.5 average
