  1. I do have a soft spot for my University at Buffalo players.. I'm always here to talk up my boy cam But unless he's lost all of his confidence.. he's better than Ingram
  2. Thank you for sticking around
  3. He's on a leodis mccelvin trajectory minus return abilities Leodis really struggled as a corner for 3-4 years... Some good games with some flashes followed by stinkers... Getting targeted Then leodis did this weird flip flop... He lost his big time return ability by year 6... But became a sticky cornerback with ball skills... By year 6 he was the sticky man corner the bills thought they were drafting 11th overall or 9th or whatever Became more adept in zone and you had to be careful throwing at him... It just took 6 years
  4. There's always going to be some speculation But I would say McDermott... Is probably really heated about how chippy the game got It's the same in boxing.. every boxer who's outclassed... Knows the only way you have a chance... Is to get into the other boxers head... Make it dirty and chippy... Get him outside his comfort zone And you have a chance It's the same thing between two unevenly matched football teams... And daboll played the rat And that's certainly would not strike good with McDermott
  5. I understand it was a frustrating play And just going back and watching replays on TV it looked like he did not finish the strike Ran towards Brown on the ground.. balled his hand into a fist... Looked like he was gonna throw it , then it looked like something got the best of him and he didn't continue with it From the replay I don't think he actually finished the punch Does look like 99 holds back at the last second
  6. He definitely has the ability to pull the trigger ... Closing speed for days .... Probably playing too fast RN which will come with the reps but a lot to like... he bursts off the screen when he is clean and should really settle down in time vs pass... I really like his ability to finish He has a lot going for him ... His drops aren't there yet but that comes with snaps ... He needs more discipline A few overruns ... but he is playing with speed and a quick trigger ... so that shows he isn't thinking too much I would have to watch all of his snaps but he has lots of promise and I think the ball is gonna find him soon McDermott has an eye for modern NFL LBrs
  7. Every single corner has film of them making tackles And I think every scouting report from lance zeirlein to Walter football to pro football Network to draft wire remarks about his inconsistencies in tackling It wasn't about his ability to ... It was about his want , play in and play out He could lay the wood .... But then not wrap up next time ... Inconsistencies in his physical game is the difference between a sure tackler and a ok one
  8. Pap would be playaction pass Mod would be Man Outside(only) deep , which is a defensive concept with man principles In zone... Cliff notes version ... Saban call it Man on Demand And MoF is middle of field which can refer to a coverage or player
  9. He balled his hand to make a fist and did not throw it Super close from going from dumb to super dumb... But he didn't throw it
  10. Arguably the best well rounded slot in the league ... Tough in run support .. can blitz off the edge .... Physical man corner and adept in zone That's why we are base nickel ... It has everything to do with Taron
  11. But even you know the motion is just window dressing... Sure it works vs inferior coached teams ... But don't take the bait ... Keep gap integrity, hands up in the passing lane Of course I would like to see our offense move into the 21st century... But I'm not impressed by all the pre-snap movements... We've all seen it We are both defensive guys... You know it's window dressing ... Good defenses don't take the bait But on that note , I would take more pre snap movement because the NFL seems to struggle with it... Lots of teams are not disciplined
  12. That buffalo Cody didn't hunt bisons He trained them and domesticated them ... Creating a herd of buffalo that he rode all around the country saving damsels in distress Amen
  13. Listen, if it came down to an ultimatum between Josh Allen.. or the coaching staff I'm taking Josh everyday and twice on Sundays
  14. I get what you're saying... But Rodgers was 40 also If he got traded at 28... It would be a massive massive boatload haul And Josh Allen could do whatever he wants at the end of the day... But he always said he wanted to finish his career in Buffalo, and I would like to believe him
  15. Bills fans forgot what 17 years of no playoffs was like
  16. Ummm this thread isn't about when Allens contract is up It's literally about if Allen will force his way out of Buffalo.. which would mean before the contract is up Peyton Manning, Pat mahomes, Josh Allen, and Dan Marino weren't traded in their prime... No team is giving them up for three first round picks.. nobody is giving up prime Dan Marino for three first round picks It's literally taking something batshit crazy... Minimum 7 to 10.. because you're not getting a first ballot Hall of Fame quarterback It's taking a bat ***** crazy deal to get it done And it doesn't happen because the price would be so high
  17. Matt Stafford is a great quarterback... Who was 33 And nobody thinks he's better than Josh Allen.. it's Josh and Pat mahomes for the next 10-15 years Josh would literally take close to 10 first round picks at 27... And so would mahomes 3 would not get it done... There is no precedence for a trade like that People thought Stafford had one or two years left after the trade... So they gave up two first round picks and goff for maybe two years of football Josh has half his career left
  18. All of this is your opinion and not a confirmed fact Not a fact at all ... Josh literally just left a 8 year relationship.. that he didn't get married in Now he's been with a girl for 2 months and you know he's hoping to marry her? Total opinion.. we have no idea what Josh is looking for It's also a total opinion that she's such a diva that if they did get married she couldn't deal with buffalo ... Josh is from firebaugh a smaller town than Lancaster ... He's a small town kid... Went from firebaugh to Laramie .. to buffalo ... Never a bright light City once There's nothing that says he's bored with Buffalo These are all opinions.. I guess Kelce needs to leave Kansas City for Los Angeles because he's dating a pop star If that chick is literally in Josh's ear telling him he needs to leave Buffalo... He needs to leave her
  19. He's worth hundreds of millions ... He could bring family to him I've never heard of an NFL superstar who switched teams to be closer to his hometown... Never Brady left at 40... Josh is 27 And Brady didn't go home
  20. Literally flies in the face of everything Josh said Since he came into the league he said he wants to play his entire career in 1 spot And it's not like he landed in a spot where the team has no fans.. he's literally living his dream of being a superstar quarterback In a football Crazy city ... Stafford is retiring in a year or 3... We arent trading 29 year old Josh Allen to the Rams for two or three first round picks LOL 2-3 first round picks???? Lmao It would take 10 and we're never trading him
  21. Lynch didn't leave the bills.. They traded him lol 0% chance he went to the bills and said trade me I'm getting pulled over by the police And they obliged
  22. I get what you were saying Daboll was the opposite of that
  23. Listen I'm not saying McDermott is a soft ass But there's a time and place to be hard on your players... And verbally berating them on the sidelines really doesn't help any player focus And daboll is a good coach... But he used the college mentality of screaming at your players on the sidelines during games... Old school mentality McDermott's approach of.. you're probably going to get your ass chewed out in private and it's going to be a hundred times worse Is the better way than in the middle of the game
  24. That was like early in josh's tenure... Where daboll was constantly yelling and screaming after mistakes And people said McDermott came to him and told him that you can't coach like that It's legitimately 5-6 years ago.. but daboll was fiery early on.. he had a habit of screaming at Josh... Then he stopped Even after Josh made a mistake
  25. Daboll was the aggressive one that was always yelling and screaming And McDermott had to tell him to take a step back these aren't 19-year-olds that you can scream at and scare respect into And then he became more even keeled
