The good news is the debate will resolve itself over the next few weeks. My prediction is 16-1, and then either we beat them or they win the Super Bowl. My prediction is that everyone will think they're a lesser team because they barely beat the worst teams in the league, but they'll beat all of their opponents from here on out in the exact same manner no matter the quality of the opponent. I truly hope that I'm wrong of course.

For sure. Part of it is that the level of competition is lower now than it was in the Pats dynasty years.

Record is all that matters. The rest is fluff for talking heads. Everyone said the Bills would be worse off this year because they let talented players go. Turns out we have our best record in decades instead. Football is about much more than talent. The more the Chiefs win one score games, the better they become at doing so. It's the ultimate superpower in a league that is mostly about winning one score games. This year they've finally perfected the art. They let the game come to them, make sure it's a one score game near the end, and from there it's a guaranteed win. A top WR and top LT combined isn't worth as much as that superpower when it comes to the win column.

Better IMO. The Pats went 10 years without a Super Bowl win during their run. The Chiefs won't go that long. This year I think we have a better chance to beat them than we will again for a long time. Hopefully we capitalize on it.

Meh the Ravens and 49ers had more talent than them last year. It doesn't matter. FWIW I believe the Bills can beat them in the playoffs this year. In fact I believe we're the only team that can, in either conference. We've shown the right DNA this year to meet them at their level in those critical moments at the end where the Chiefs usually beat everybody.

You beat them by being up two scores at the 2 minute warning. Anything else is just a tease for the inevitable outcome.

The Chiefs don't need to take risks to win these games. They trust their defense, or when all else fails their special teams. Why wouldn't they? Someone is going to step up and make the play, or the other team will wilt under the pressure.

I'm just shocked so many people actually believe this. I fell for it briefly during the Chargers game when Rashee Rice had clearly suffered a season ending injury while the Chiefs were trailing. Stupid me. It won't happen again.

Nah they're a better team right now than they were last year. I know it makes no sense given the injuries. No true #1 WR, no LT, no #2 CB, a replacement level kicker. It doesn't matter. They are the ultimate "find a way" team. You aren't going to find it in any of the data. But it is right there in the win/loss record. One team managed to overcome them because one player did to them what they usually do to everyone else. Only one player in the entire league is capable of stopping 19-1 and the first ever three-peat.

Mahomes has never been the only reason they win like this. This year more than ever. Of course some weeks he's the reason, like last week. Everybody on the roster takes a turn. And sometimes the other team just screws it up on their own because they're intimidated by the aura.

So when they lost to this same team on Christmas last year, which ended a streak where they lost 5 games in 8, what did that mean in the end? It will be easier for everybody if you accept that they are going to win every single game exactly like this all the way to holding the Lombardi, unless one player stops them.

We aren't getting the #1 seed even if we win out. We need to go into Arrowhead and make sure Allen has the ball in his hands last. That's it. Any other outcome and they are three-peating, 100% for sure.

Where does this narrative come from? You win a bunch of close games one year after winning a bunch of close games all the way to the Lombardi, that isn't luck. That's their identity.

Raiders have been able to pick up more than just 1-2 yards on 1st down runs. We had to thread a lot of needles.

They're the best team in the league IMO. The way they beat the worst teams is the same way they beat the best teams. They lost to this same bad Raiders team on Christmas last year and everyone wrote their obituary. But they just kept finding a way to win when it counted. Personally I think the Bills are the one and only team that has a chance of stopping them.

The Chiefs make mistakes just so they can win by 3 and pump themselves up in the locker for a gritty victory. Every damn week it's the same story, all the way to the Super Bowl.
