  1. Hopefully they don't end up as the 7 seed.... That's my fear right now. Thankfully they already beat the Broncos and the Chargers so they just have to match one of their records at the end to avoid that outcome.
  2. They will easily win 2 of their remaining games. Giants, Steelers, Texans, Browns - Giants are an automatic win and they're not losing three straight. And I can't imagine a 10 win team not making it this year. Dolphins and Colts both need to win out to get 10 wins. No way that is happening for either team IMO. Dolphins have an outside chance I guess.
  3. I still say the way to beat the Ravens is focus on shutting down the run first and take your chances with the ball in Lamar's hands on 2nd/3rd and long, ideally clogging up the middle of the field. Lamar's going to make some big plays occasionally but it's better than letting them slowly bleed your defense out over long punishing drives. And they don't have the outside WRs to really punish you for that strategy.
  4. Feels like even if he plays he is going to be hurting... Sell out to stop the run and dare Purdy to throw downfield in the cold.
  5. Is Devonta Smith really that important to the operation? Their offense has been completely non-functional on all drives but two, and against a statistically poor pass defense at that.
  6. Hopefully they keep this loser around next year, and then whatever else they do won't matter.
  7. Funny that this game was advertised as battle of the best RBs and it hasn't been that at all.
  8. Sucks but I'm okay with it. I'd like to see Samuel continue his upwards trajectory from the KC game. And hopefully Cooper is fully worked into the offense and gets like 75% of snaps.
  9. I don't care that he mentioned he thought he saw something, it was just weird how he wouldn't let it go.
  10. Even after the slow motion replay makes it obvious, he grumbles "there's enough there to take another look, that's all I'm saying." Alright man. Thanks for the objective commentary.
  11. What in the world is Tony Romo talking about? That is not close to a fumble. Even after slow motion replay he is stating his case.
  12. They missed defensive holding in the endzone a couple plays before
  13. Well yeah, of course he trusts Mark Andrews to gain leverage like that... That is a trust throw but the trust has been well earned. Nothing dangerous about that throw. Ironically it's the kind of tight window throw that Lamar has been criticized for being unwilling to make. This year he's making them.
  14. That TD wasn't likely to be picked. It was man coverage (I'm 90% sure) and he threw it to a spot where only his target could get it. Just because there are bodies in the area doesn't mean it's a poor decision. Every defensive player was sticking with their man.
  15. I think he, Allen, and Mahomes are actually very alike in the way that they will all occasionally miss easy throws that even average QBs always hit. But the number of game changing plays they make with their individual talent more than makes up for it, and that's an understatement.
  16. This Eagles offense is disgraceful. The Ravens supposedly have the worst pass defense in the league, and they're just slamming Barkley up the middle over and over again. I know Devonta Smith is out but that shouldn't shut down the entire operation.
  17. They might as well. My understanding is that there isn't any sure thing at QB at the top of this draft (I'll leave it to you to correct me if I've heard wrong). They need talent at pretty much every level on both sides of the ball before they should think about starting over from scratch.
  18. Well even a contain rush should compress the pocket around the QB if executed right. They aren't even getting close to him.
  19. Bryce Young has completely turned it around since coming back from the bench. Good for him, genuinely.
  20. This is a coaching gap as much as anything else. Eagles offense is way too simple, no creativity just basic plays relying on their talent.
  21. I'm surprised how little pressure Philly is getting on Lamar. He has all day back there
  22. That would be the owner that needs to be fired. Getting rid of the GM won't solve the problem.
  23. The Bengals defense doesn't have a single centerpiece to build around. They are practically starting from scratch.
