The Dolphins 2020 draft class will go down as one of the worst in NFL history considering the resources they had. With THREE 1st round picks they took Tua, Austin Jackson, and Noah Igbinoghene. Even the drought era Bills didn't screw it up that bad.

Theory about the Chief's Downturn Root Cause
HappyDays replied to jethro_tull's topic in The Stadium Wall
Except every person who has watched the tape agrees Mahomes is not playing well over the past couple weeks. It isn't his supporting cast. It is him. Of course it's probably just a slump that he will come out of. -

Once again thankful the Dolphins did not draft Justin Herbert.

Breaking News: Odell Beckham is set to be released
HappyDays replied to Protocal69's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm pretty sure Taysom Hill will be their QB and I don't see a huge drop off from Winston to Hill. Yes the Saints are a contender. More of a dark horse contender than an odds on favorite but they are likely to make the playoffs. Also OBJ went to LSU. There's a reason they are the 2nd highest betting favorite to sign him. I hope the Bills do their due diligence too though. -

They're 5-2. I think he just wanted to make sure he didn't get claimed by an outright bad team like Jacksonville or Detroit. -

So teams with high waiver priority have probably been told he won't report if they claim him. Now I think it is likely he clears waivers and signs a cheap one year deal with a contender. -
Trubisky to covid 19 list; Davis Webb elevated from PS

If he is vaccinated he will be able to come back much sooner than if not. -

I would be surprised if Allen isn't vaccinated regardless of his personal feelings about it. He is the type that will do anything to help his team win. Even if he had reservations about the vaccine he knows getting it gives his team the best chance to win. -
Josh Allen vs. Mahomes: Last 32 regular season starts
HappyDays replied to Sammy Watkins' Rib's topic in The Stadium Wall
If he is hurting why is he running out of clean pockets and missing open reads? Also his defense won him the Giants game. This year Allen has been much better than Mahomes, period. There is no reasonable argument you can make to the contrary. -

Draft threads in November. Remember when this was an annual tradition? I haven't thought about the draft once and I won't think about it until February.

This is definitely possible, but I haven't seen any reporting that indicates he is only looking to sign with a contender. Considering how open his camp has been I would have expected to hear that by now. I really think this is more about his relationship with Baker Mayfield being fractured than about wanting to win more games. Like he might prefer to be literally anywhere other than Cleveland. And supposedly Cleveland is restructuring his contract to make it easier to claim him so that tells me he is fine being claimed anywhere else.

I'm saying other - Jaguars because they're near the top of the waiver priority, they have enough cap space to take on his contract, and he fills a need. If he passes through waivers I'd guess the Raiders.

Also the allergy is only tied to 2 of the vaccines. His stated reason for not taking the 3rd vaccine (the Johnson & Johnson one) is because it was tied to blood clots. But based on data that is a poor excuse. https://www.yalemedicine.org/news/coronavirus-vaccine-blood-clots If you assume 50% of the 9 million doses went to men, that is an incidence rate of 0.00013333%, AKA 1.33 in a million chance for men. The chance of him having a severe covid case is much greater than that.
