  1. Good article about Allen's development this season from Cosell here: https://www.the33rdteam.com/josh-allen-may-be-on-his-way/
  2. This is definitely possible, but I haven't seen any reporting that indicates he is only looking to sign with a contender. Considering how open his camp has been I would have expected to hear that by now. I really think this is more about his relationship with Baker Mayfield being fractured than about wanting to win more games. Like he might prefer to be literally anywhere other than Cleveland. And supposedly Cleveland is restructuring his contract to make it easier to claim him so that tells me he is fine being claimed anywhere else.
  3. I'm saying other - Jaguars because they're near the top of the waiver priority, they have enough cap space to take on his contract, and he fills a need. If he passes through waivers I'd guess the Raiders.
  4. Also the allergy is only tied to 2 of the vaccines. His stated reason for not taking the 3rd vaccine (the Johnson & Johnson one) is because it was tied to blood clots. But based on data that is a poor excuse. https://www.yalemedicine.org/news/coronavirus-vaccine-blood-clots If you assume 50% of the 9 million doses went to men, that is an incidence rate of 0.00013333%, AKA 1.33 in a million chance for men. The chance of him having a severe covid case is much greater than that.
  5. Saying he was immunized was also a lie. Drinking diluted water does not count as immunized.
  6. His version of "immunized" is homeopathic treatment. For those who don't know, homeopathy involves performing a magic ritual on water and drinking it.
  7. Taking medical advice from Joe Rogan and using an out of context Martin Luther King Jr quote. This is going well. The good news is Cole Beasley is no longer the center of the anti-vax NFL crowd.
  8. I am in the camp of wanting him on the Bills if we can somehow make it work, I just don't see how that's possible. It only takes one bad team with a lot of cap space to decide they want to take a chance on him. The Jaguars have plenty of cap space, a rookie QB that could use some help, a coach fighting for his job, and very few offensive weapons. Why wouldn't they claim him? The only possibility is if Beckham puts it out there that he will not play for any team that claims him but we haven't heard anything like that at this point. And even if he becomes available to sign we only have about $4 million in cap space. Most contenders are in the same boat. I suppose there are ways for us to make cap space but I don't know... seems like too many things in the way of us signing him for it to be realistic.
  9. After the trade deadline all players are subject to the waiver wire.
  10. So by rule he would be put on the waiver wire. What's to stop the Lions from claiming him? If Beckham was disgruntled in Cleveland will be happier on the teams with the highest waiver priority? I just don't understand what he is hoping for.
  11. The twenty-eighteen wildcard round Is a story of lost and found The victor now sits In the AFC pits While the loser's now Super Bowl bound
  12. Why would you believe otherwise? Good interior o-linemen do not get traded. Even teams in rebuild mode need good guards. Most good players that get traded, it's because they don't fit into a new regime or they have become disgruntled with the team and requested a trade.
  13. Turns out you can't force teams to trade players just because you have a weakness you want to fill.
  14. Same story every year. Even bad teams have GMs and coaches fighting for their job.
  15. Fitzpatrick is better than Trubisky. If this is true we would get a better backup QB for free plus a pick. Why would Washington do that though?
  16. I assume we will sign someone if that trade actually happens. But I am not one to worry about the backup QB. The way this offense is playing we are not winning games if Allen goes down whether Trubisky or Webb replaces him. I would trade any backup QB for a 2nd rounder, no hesitation.
  17. If true hard to turn that down. We picked him up for nothing. I don't understand why Washington would do it though. Isn't Fitz back soon?
  18. He would like it, I'm guessing. Get rid of Phillips and/or Butler and you can rotate Oliver/Cox/Lotulelei/Zimmer. All of a sudden our interior d-line looks elite. As someone else mentioned he has almost no cap hit this year.
  19. I love how fans just throw out names like Andrew Norwell and Brandon Scherff and assume they are available. Good interior o-linemen do not get traded. Any team at any point in their life cycle needs good interior o-linemen and they are hard to find. Someone on here randomly mentioned Norwell as a trade target a few weeks ago and all of a sudden Beane is a failure if he doesn't trade for him. Why would a head coach fighting for his job with a rookie QB allow that to happen? I'm all for the Bills making sensible trades but the other team has to be willing to move on from the player.
  20. Wow I thought he had the best case for MVP so far. And now you have to wonder how well he'll come back from it next year.
