What has this regime shown you that makes you think this is a realistic possibility though? We've had 4 chances against them and their offense continues to dominate us at a level they dominate nobody else. When people tell you who they are, believe them. This regime has shown they can build a championship caliber offense but not a championship caliber defense. Keep building on that strength and see what happens.

It also demonstrates how close we are on offense though. Forget building a defense that can shut out KC in the playoffs. That's not happening. An offense that scores 4 more points is however within our grasp.

Honestly for me Benford is the only one of those that's a necessity. I'd be willing to shake up the entire rest of the defense if it means trying some new things. Anything is better than what our defense has looked like in each of our playoff losses. There's also a part of me that still worries the defense won't really improve until the coaching changes and all the other discussions are meaningless. But I know that change isn't coming.

Not until Reid and/or Spags are gone. No team in the AFC is capable of this. Philly's roster is just on another level. Like I said earlier it's a historically great roster.

This is exactly right. All year they've had issues with pass protection and WR separation. Against us it was easy pickings all game long. Really frustrating that every year our season ends looking exactly like that.

I just don't know how the voters can watch this game and say it's a QB led victory. Realistically it's the entire Philly defense at all three levels but they have to pick one player.

So who is the MVP right now? Cooper DeJean? Jalen Carter?

I actually would be willing to take a flyer on Hollywood Brown for a low low deal, but with no expectations attached.

At halftime the Eagles have more points than the Chiefs have yards.

He's had the best career for sure, obviously. But the line between him and the other tier 1 QBs started blurring in 2023 and continued this season.

Hopkins and Cooper both were massive disappointments down the stretch. No more mid-season bandaids. Fix the position before training camp.

Every hire they've made is leading in the same philosophical direction. And I've floated Jonathan Jones as a possibility for the vet CB that will hopefully be competing with a rookie for the job. This move makes that more likely.

Any of Allen, Burrow, or Lamar would be playing better in this game right now. I 100% believe that.

Meh. Mecole Hardman changed the 13 seconds game against us. Pick a Chiefs player out of a hat and they've probably looked unbelievable against our defense in the playoffs.

KC's roster is overrated IMO. Coaching is what has them in this game.

We actually ran the ball better against KC than Philly is. But their defense is just utterly dominating.

Meh. We had the 10th overall pick and got Oliver. Edmunds 16th. Those were our last two chances to get blue chip players and we couldn't capitalize. And this past draft the Eagles got two rookie starters that pretty much immediately rebuilt their secondary. Give Howie Roseman his due. He didn't luck into this roster.
