Bradford and Rudolph should be the plan
SouthNYfan replied to BuffaloBud420's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, i don't think Dorsey has had a ton of GM home runs, but he was instrumental in drafting the Packers stars as their head scout (GB has publicly credited him with Rodgers and Mathews) In KC his track record was spotty, but we also can't be sure that a lot of the KC moves weren't Reid driving them, and Dorsey signing off after. This is his first real GM position, without a guy like Reid basically co-gm head coaching under him. Also, you've got to account for him being in Cleveland, I think that automatically lowers your football IQ by about 30% the moment you sign with that organization ? He's made some pretty bold moves so far, which I respect the hell out of, as the NFL is not a league you succeed in bed by being passive, but I'm not positive they are all good. Tyrod was an overpay I believe, but they had a ton of draft capital and cap space, so it's not that bad a move, unless he doesn't find another QB to groom behind him. Landry is a question. He can catch, for sure, but I'm not positive he's not a complete headcase, but if Gordon is back, they are a solid duo, that he didn't give up much for. Randall has some good CB potential as well, and I think that was the safest trade of all three. Either way, I think he made good moves, the only real overpay was Tyrod, but as we all know, you need to pay more for a QB. I think the Browns should win 4-6 games this year as the roster stands, which is a huge improvement for them. And yeah, I think Bradford's knee is a mess, it isn't stout, it was some pretty thin fishing line they used, and an they had was that non-stick denture chewing gum, so it's not as sturdy as it might seem ?? Teddy's knee is just as bad as Bradford. -
Bradford and Rudolph should be the plan
SouthNYfan replied to BuffaloBud420's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, Bradford probably has the internal knee makeup if a 60 year old who worked heavy construction his whole life. He probably doesn't even have much of a joint capsule left, it's just a bunch of crazy glue and chewed bubblegum, maybe some fishing line tying it together. -
Tyrod Taylor Thanks Buffalo
SouthNYfan replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They turned Pryor into a wr. Wouldn't it be great if they traded for Tyrod to use him at wr and drafted a QB to start?? -
You mean the Brown's perception
-
The browns overpaying or wrongly evaluating a player? Never. Everybody acting vindicated that Tyrod netted a upper 3rd round pick needs to realize who offered that pick. It's the Browns. You can't use their player evaluation as a barometer.

While we are all rejoicing here.........

They traded kizer already. -
OPINION: We have a trade partner in place

I'd be okay with this. -
Along with his career

I couldn't be happier. Not only is he gone, but now he's on the Browns! Hahahahaha.
-
Exactly. Nobody knows but the browns.
-
I don't disagree I think it comes down to how much the browns value one or two QBs over the others, you know? Scenario #1: Hypothetical, say they love Darnold, and view him as massively above Rosen, Mayfield, and Allen. In that scenario, I could see them doing the trade above. Scenario #2: Say they value Darnold, Rosen equally, and have Mayfield just a little behind them. In that case, it might not be worth it for them to do the trade above.
-
Agree completely
-
I think it makes no sense for the browns, unless they are dying for a specific QB, they have their choice of Mayfield, Allen, Darnold, or Rosen at #4 if they take Barkley at #1
-
Yeah I have no idea what will happen. I'm just saying that Miami could be in play for a QB even with Tanny on the roster, because they have a cheap out. Yeah. That's like nightmare scenario. Agreed.
-
Yeah, if he doesn't succeed, it won't be for lack of effort/apathy. I like the kid. Yeah, I think they can cut him and only have like $4.6 of dead cap this year. I swear to Christ if we stand pat, and the dolphins get Baker, I will lose my sh*t.

My regards to his athleticism means poor pocket mobility, reaction time left to right on the field reads, etc He just looks slow, and I don't mean slow like Peyton Manning, who wasn't fast, but had great footwork with his pocket mobility, changing directions when adjusting to a throw, etc. I mean slow like he looks as if he will get smashed in the pocket because he takes too long to throw and move around back there. The rest of your post I'm good with, just clarifying what you asked

I honestly think the dude legit wants to play, believes in himself, and has a chip on his shoulder, kinda like how Aaron Rodgers was angry at his draft day slide, and used it as "f*ck you, I'll show you all" fuel.
-
I laughed at the tv thing ? His ability is the question. His accuracy isn't great on short and quick routes. He's not a very good athlete. His arm strength comes and goes in games, maybe inconsistent mechanics/footwork? I'm not saying he doesn't have upside, and I wouldn't be unhappy with him in round 2. 21/22 I'm not okay with reaching for him.
-
I heard he's been slumming with EJ Manuel and learning how to get taken way ahead of actual value.

Tim Tebow checked all 7 of Parcells' list with flying colors. It's a stupid list.

Drew Brees still does not have a contract!
SouthNYfan replied to wagon127's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
26cb is correct. His contract had a clause that he means he could not be franchise tagged. -
Richard Sherman - 3ry deal with 49ers
SouthNYfan replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That means "we don't think you are worth your contract after the injury, so feel free to look around, but we won't be paying you much if you wanna stay" I'm down with him, if the price is right. That's a serious secondary with white, Hyde, poyer, vontae, Sherman
