  1. A couple of things, coming from a Canadian Bills fan, who may or may not be a social justice warrior/snowflake/cuck depending on your point of reference. 1 - The far or radical left does not support free speech, and never has. 2 - The radical left does not like football, and most professional sports in general. 3 - Villaneuva looked weird standing by himself 4 - Booing loudly during a national anthem is really disrespectful towards the anthem, as well 5 - I will never, ever understand American Patriotism,
  2. Pegula does not understand football. Hence this problem.
  3. He's actually one of the most selfless players to have played in recent memory and one of the worst trades in Bills history. If the organization didn't waste another 1 pick on CJ spiller and get in cap trouble by signing McCoy, the team would be in a far better position right now. So many fans on this board were so happy when he left, and he ended up becoming one of the best back's of his generation who could still be playing for us today.
  4. I would add a third: fans who want to watch fun, interesting football. Teams can win, while being ugly and boring, which is bad for the sport overall. Teams can loose and still be interesting and fun, to watch which is good for a sport overall. I have no problem watching a fun, interesting Bills team loose a game, provided that the game is close and watchable. I think its silly to put too much emphasis on winning, and that those who are obsessed with it are pretty good at ruining sports.
  5. If your done with them, than we can all be freed from your wisdom.
  6. The smart teams know where the talent drop off is every year, and how many players in each draft are projected to start. Yes the draft is a crapshoot, but your odds of finding a starter get much steeper the deeper the draft goes. If you look at draft history, most starters are found in rounds 1-2, a few in round three, and after that your into special teams, backup, and camp body territory. Stack a team with tons of low round picks that can't start in the short term and you'll end up having to cut your picks. We would have never had Chris Hogan or Gillespie on our team if Miami hadn't over drafted and cut them. The bills set where their thought the talent drop off was and attacked the border. You don't have to agree with the strategy, but to assume its brainless demonstrates a fundamental lack of mathematical understanding. I'd rather role the dice twice when the odds are more favorable, than roll 4 times when they are not. And no way in hell will you ever catch me playing the slots.
  7. The above "reasoning" is a primary example of not putting the emotion aside. We might get our QB in the 3rd or 4th round this year
  8. Those who lack patience, insight, and proper information are the loudest, nowadays. I suspect that a good portion of posters who are angry wrongly assume that reaching for a QB would immediately have made "the Bills Great Again". They wanted a big splash, so they could "feel" like Buffalo was going to be better, even though doing so would have been the most foolish thing for this franchise to do. Seriously, the fans in Houston are going to be calling for Watson's head as soon as his interceptions start piling up. And with no picks next year, the front office will likely be out of a job soon. Kansas City has bought themselves time with Mahomes, but only because they already have Alex Smith - in addtion to alot of talent on the roster. If we drafted him, he would get thrown in too fast, throw a bunch of pick 6's, and completely loose his confidence.
  9. Mitch came out after starting for only 1 year for exactly that reason. Those who are upset are merely impatient and uniformed.
  10. Exactly. He goes through his progressions, throws with anticipation, is calm under pressure, and routinely completes throws when the pocket is collapsing. Dumb off the field: yes. Dumb on the field: no. If he's there in the third, its worth a gamble, and if he's there in the 4th, pull the trigger immediately. Tyrod is the only QB on the roster better than him, currently, and he reads the field better than Tyrod. Lots of 3rd round picks fail to crack a starting lineup, so he's well worth the value if he sneaks passed the second round.
  11. Please refrain from making what might be percieved as threats against the front office...this is not what this board is about, so if you would like to continue making comments such as these please do it somewhere else
  12. I think the strongest case can be made for Bradham based on where he was selected (4th 105th). Glenn and Darby make some sense, but second round players project into starters far more often than 4th round players. Hitting on a reliable starter in rounds 1-2 isn't that difficulty given the consensus scouting information that is available, its harder in round 3, depending on the draft, but once you get to round 4 its much harder, by far, which is why draft grades are all over the board in later rounds. Simply put, Watkins, Darby, and Glenn are all picks that a lot of amateurs could have made (I'm an amateur and I would have picked Watkins at 3). Bradham at 4 is what separates professionals from amateur draft - nicks - and loud mouthed "draft experts". Arguably, Buffalo has yet to have found a starter that has been as reliable as he is in the 4th round since.
  13. There isn't a single QB in this year's draft that projects to be any better than Taylor for the next two years, which is the committed portion of his contract. And if you take a QB at 10 your committed to him for at least the following draft or two which could have much richer QB crops. This is the exact kind of thinking that led to the Bills Drafting EJ Manuel in a weak year, and then missing out on potential franchise signal callers in the following drafts that were right there for the taking. I agree that the team needs to be taking more QB's than it has in the past, but what you are advocating for would actually prevent that from happening.
