  1. Are they banning sale of lighter fluid, too?
  2. I realize the weather might make this impracticable, but I would love for a party in the plaza to happen. That said - 716, Cole's, and Goodbar... or I wonder if Riverworks is hosting some sort of watch party?
  3. Keep Taylor and blow that draft pick load. Unload Taylor once the rookie is ready, which will hopefully be before the trade deadline and right when another team sustains a QB injury and becomes desperate, or ideally after he shows he has surpassed him in the offseason.
  4. Someone going, please make a sign about the Jags fans and their tarps. Thank you in advance.
  5. I hear you. I also think seeing what McD can do with under the radar pick-ups like Hyde, Poyer, Gaines, and Yarbrough, as well as a late round pick like Milano, I am less worried about stocking up the D. I also doubt trading up for a QB would cost all of our picks. We could probably still retain a 2nd and/or our 3rd, plus then we still have a 4th, two 5ths, and our 7th. I also anticipate Glenn being a piece included in a potential trade-up offer. That said, I do hope we invest heavily into the D-line, so long as it is not at the expense of drafting a QB prospect who OBD likes.
  6. Great read, as usual! Re: Taylor, I think he is the perfect bridge QB and am for keeping him another year. I want him teaching our rookie QB how to (a) protect the football, (b) work hard, and (c) be a humble leader. However, I disagree in that, if OBD thinks a QB in the draft is a franchise-type prospect, then they 100% should trade whatever is needed to get that guy.
  7. I have no problem with paying our best offensive playmaker under $10M.
  8. If there is any way he can go, then I have no doubt that he will.
  9. I have a feeling there'll be a lot of blue and red in that stadium on game day. It's also nice to know that we just have an objectively better fanbase.
  10. So, how many Buffalo babies are gonna be born in late August/early September 2018? How many named Sean? And how many named Andy? EDIT: And how many named Kyle?
  11. Would I love it if it happened? Yes. More likely and logically, we should sign Banyard or really coax DeAngelo Williams. Hopefully Shady can just go and tears up the Jax D.
  12. Would rather have to search for a replacement RT, which given Mills' poor play we would need to do regardless, than keep searching for a franchise QB.
  13. I think if you are a 30 year old NFL player and considered raw, then you are unlikely to get coached up.
  14. Yes, especially. Not against Smith either and also do not think any QB we bring in (even Cousins) should preclude OBD from drafting at least one QB.
  15. I'm higher on TT than I am on Dennison. Taylor has at least shown flashes and has top-notch athletic ability and leadership qualities. Dennison scares me because of his lack of adaptability. I would not mind keeping TT to help groom our quality "young" QB prospect and teach him how to protect the football, as well as how to be a leader. Then, when the new QB is ready to take the reigns, we have the best back-up, wildcat, filthy rich man's Joe Webb-type of QB in TT, and are either (a) still spending the same as everyone else at the QB position or (b) closing in on a deal for draft picks to send TT to a desperate team.
  16. Agreed he's going nowhere, but I think if we trade up it will be to the Colts' pick assuming it stays at #3 overall.
  17. Who would not be shocked if we beat the Patriots and then lost to the Dolphins? Just seems too Billsy.
  18. Not against bringing in Smith. Also not against keeping Taylor. Because either way we should be trading up to secure a QB we think is our next guy. And either veteran is a QB who plays smart, protects the football, and can pass on some great intangibles and leadership qualities.
  19. Most important part is the last sentence: "...if the team intends to commit to offensive coordinator Rick Dennison."
  20. Might have voted differently had I known his name meant that. But I voted Sal C. He's enjoyable to listen to and does not annoy me like a lot of the others. Plus, as mentioned, his song is great.
  21. It is certainly troublesome having the feeling your OC cannot/will not adjust his system to his players, specifically to: (1) Taylor's strengths and (2) the run game, which as of late has shown to have more success with the power blocking than zone blocking.
  22. Nice work. Given the disparity between our 1st half and 2nd half play, as well as between our 1st and 2nd games against the Jets, with both indicating a worse Bills product on the field in the 2nd showing, I tend to think McDermott as of now is not a great adjustment maker. Regardless, let's break the cycle.
