Week 1, Cards v. Bills - Predict the Score
GoBills808 replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
sharp side imo public is on bills-300..spread neutral i could see that and the under hitting like Cards 24 Bills 23 but i will keep it optimistic say Bills 27 Cards 21 lose by the hook -
Ask that guy if those 1yard shovel passes should be knocked off Mahomes total

true lose-lose-lose situation -
Receivers the Bills could go after?

You said to compare the Bills receiving options day 1 2024 to Chiefs day 1 2023 and the Bills win in a landslide...presumably because you wanted to keep Rice at rookie stat level as a comp for our rookie in Coleman, which is fine but Kincaid day 1 2024 is not a 1000 yard guy -

You don't see any inconsistency in saying 'I don't think the gap between 2023 Kelce and 2024 Kincaid is enough to cover that spread above' while also saying 'we are at the beginning of 2024 and not the end'? -
we've had ample opportunity

I have never hated anything as much as I hate this idea -
we traded him he didn't have much of a choice
-
this is the theory and it is sound where we diverge is whether we have the marriage of talent+coaching to manage that kind of offense
-
he has more TDs than anyone in NFL history at this rate and he's never been close to MVP i agree it probably will not happen
-
yup zero mention of the fact that his team clawed their way into a playoff spot, just 'hey i didn't forget how to play football' pure unfiltered narcissist
-
surprised Brandt had something good to say about Allen lol he's been very cool on Allen and the Bills since they didn't renew that ***** show the two of them did that one year

makes sense

I think it's very likely the plan for Hollins to do more than Coleman initially, especially if the rookie isn't quite up to NFL speed yet I don't have a problem w that approach personally. I have a problem w folks pretending Mack Hollins isn't a mediocre at best player I mean in a word yes -
Bobby Babich to call Bills' Defense

I think he's saying he lined up properly and adjusting would have been better but outside the playcall That's how I took it anyway Ancient history tho -

i've heard this interview many times before...isn't wallace basically saying he was lined up properly but if he had checked in he would have adjusted to what he was seeing from the Chiefs? this is from an interview he gave fwiw: ...Yet given those two timeouts before both plays and this detail-obsessed head coach and the stakes, isn’t Poyer coached to line up so deep? Wallace answers that, yes, this was “in the gameplan.” But he puts it on the players to realize KC only needed a field goal and believes guys were too caught up in the emotion of the offense scoring a touchdown. One thought was on their mind: We’re going to the AFC Championship Game. Tyreek Hill went for 19 yards, Travis Kelce for 25 yards, Harrison Butker kicked a 49-yard field goal and, into OT, the Bills’ No. 1 defense folded like a tailgate table. With one word — “yeah” — Wallace humbly agrees that this was how he was supposed to line up those two plays. No, he did not go rogue. But, no, Wallace is also not going to sit here and roast Sean McDermott because that’s not his style. He’ll take accountability. (Even though he doesn’t need to.) “If you guys want to put it on me, I’ll take it,” Wallace says. “I don’t really care.” -
I'm all for learning and growing. I think Brady could do very well w some more seasoning and blossom into a great NFL OC. I just don't like the fact that he's going to be doing the learning and growing here while we're in the middle of Allen's career.
-
you took 5mins out of your day to talk about an NFC interdivisional game youre not going anywhere
-
Speaking of terrible analogies The players are not employees of the OC. They're 20something millionaire athletes whose input is going to be informed by a multitude of factors not necessarily conducive to the OC's offensive goals, like personal statistics/production/ability to self scout/realistic view of their own capabilities
-
there is no way his name is actually Shanknovsky lmfao
-
yes i think the larger issue is that you should probably have higher ambitions for this offense than just promoting whoever happens to be QB coach after the previous OC gets fired or leaves
