in a given year, sure. but realistically they're all members of the same union, and in the long term larger contracts are better for membership overall put it this way- when it's your turn to get paid you'd expect your coworkers to be in your corner. i mean just because you get a raise it doesnt mean your buddies get less...it's up to the boss/front office/NFLPA cba etc to figure it out
