I'm really happy that Thurman's role, whatever that may entail, hasn't changed.
I'll get behind the hire, it's what I do, but...I really don't like it at this moment in time. He (like Rex) has shown himself to be extremely scheme specific, not willing/able to adjust. That's a tough thing in the NFL where the rules favor the offense to begin with. If you don't put your people in the best position to succeed you may as well send them onto the field with both hands tied behind their backs.
At least we'll lead the league in hyperbole.
