  1. That's an easy one the game is played really fast 22 players to keep an eye on preconceptions rule book that is too ambiguous rule book that is too big officials who don't know the rules . . .
  2. I can tell you who wins and save you some time. Just send me a PM.
  3. And now we can expect the league to contact all 32 teams and remind them of the policy regarding team personnel (non-players) on the field. It will become a point of emphasis and so will the sideline areas.
  4. Are you out of your mind? Of course he's on the hot seat. There aren't many possible replacements out there? There are only 32 teams, I'm certain that there are at least 33 people qualified to coach an NFL team. Put down the moonshine.
  5. I do think that the "he became a runner" crap is just that (crap). Guy took two very quick steps and barely got his head around. The talking heads have a narrative and they stick to it. It's been decided that hit was ok...until the league steps in on Tuesday or Wednesday and fines Shazier.
  6. We knew that last night.
  7. what the heck are you saying here?
  8. It matters that you are a filthy pigdog.
  9. It was the weirdest play of the game. If this makes any sense to you...I thought he never had control of the ball, but I don't think he ever lost control of the ball.
  10. Excuse me for not taking Mike Pereira's word as gospel, but I need more than that. I thought that it was a penalty to headhunt whether you go after a receiver, runner, lineman whatever. (I may be merging NCAA and NFL rulebooks but I didn't think you could do that)
  11. I'm sure he was out there for a reason, maybe more than one. Fact is he was baited, watch the video. Fact is I'm sure he said some choice things. Fact is the Cincy players couldn't control themselves at the most critical time in any of their professional careers. The first flag was unavoidable...after the contact it had to be thrown. The second was most definitely avoidable. They blew it. Steelers blameless? No, not at all.
  12. You have a vivid imagiation. Shazier did behave classlessly after the fumble.
  13. He wasn't. Go back and watch again if it means that much to you. He was walking towards the Steeler sidelines. When Burfect reached over another Bengal and slapped Brown on the shoulder a few times. My guess is that he also had a few things to say. I suppose you could call it a Bengals huddle if by that you mean Porter was surrounded (he's not blameless, just less blame to me than towards Cincy).
  14. He's a coach. Coaches often go on the field when a player is injured. He got bumped from behind and I'm pretty sure he (and the refs) heard some things that should not have been said. Cincy deserved this loss like no team I can think of.
  15. Better have lots of police at field level.
  16. No timeouts. When do you kick?
  17. When did players no longer need to keep their helmets on?
  18. Flag needed to be thrown there.
  19. That was downright dirty
  20. That **** aint gonna get it done.
  21. Nice hands and adjustment there
  22. The belief is that it was a clean but powerful bad hit.
  23. How many TO's for Pitt? Two?
