  1. Bucs punter just swung his helmet at Rousseau's head after the Bucs started a brawl. Can't wait to see them call offsetting penalties.
  2. It wasn't PI at all. It was obvious knocking the ball away.
  3. Not when you're making a play on the ball. That isn't called for most teams.
  4. Defenders aren't even allowed to knock the ball down anymore? Why even have defenses then?
  5. We rushed 4 on 84% of defensive snaps. Couldn't find any blitz stats yet but I'm pretty sure we were way above our season average. Still couldn't get pressure and Mac had all day to sit back and find the open guys.
  6. Wait I can't remember... Are turnovers better or worse than punts?
  7. He gets plenty of blame. It's just a lot harder to actually execute plays than it is to call them, especially when you have defenders in your face right after every snap. He's also a perennial MVP candidate and Dorsey wouldn't make anyone's list of top coordinators in the league.
  8. The defense is missing its top 3 players at all different levels of the field for the year as well as other key players temporarily. They get some grace from me, especially when the offense gives the other teams short fields. The offense is completely healthy and looks like they've never played together despite being on Year 4 of continuity.
  9. There's a lot of space between "I have no idea what I'm doing" and "it's everyone else's fault." They're both equally bad. He could have said anything and he chose one of the two worst responses.
  10. If he's being honest and doesn't know why they're struggling the first half, he's not qualified to keep his job. If he's lying and he does know why they're struggling and hasn't fixed it in three games against bad defenses, he's not qualified to keep his job.
  11. Well McDermott has Allen and is still known as a playoff choker. So probably not one of the greatest coaches ever.
  12. I think our rosters are pretty evenly matched but yeah coaching is clearly in different tiers. No matter how you slice it, though, we have clearly underperformed compared to the Chiefs against common opponents. That was all I was trying to get through the other poster's thick skull.
  13. Flying to London on Friday and keeping your players awake all day before a game on Sunday was a much bigger issue than the game location. And it might have also contributed to season ending injuries for two of our best defenders. Teams that get to London early always look sharper than those who think they're being clever by flying late in the week.
  14. Mahomes only runs on scrambles though. It's not like he gets designed runs. His offensive line is just so good that he has 5 seconds to throw the ball or he can run through a wide open hole. Josh still scrambles, but he usually has to break two tackles before the line of scrimmage. But I do agree they need to find a better balance for designed runs that's somewhere between making Josh our best RB and nothing.
  15. Chiefs 17 Jaguars 9 Chiefs 23 Jets 20 Bills 20 Jaguars 25 Bills 16 Jets 22 Chiefs 40 opponents 29 Bills 36 opponents 47 Chiefs 2-0 Bills 0-2 Are you keeping up yet?
  16. Yeah, the Chiefs scored more points against them than we did and allowed fewer points than we did. We are 0-2 against those teams. Chiefs are 2-0. I'm not exactly sure what point you're trying to make but I don't think it's working as well as you think it is.
  17. Yup. Offense looks great when Allen can win on his own. Offense looks awful when we need some game planning to counter a good defense.
  18. We were talking about the Lions. But also, yes I saw the Chiefs beat both of those teams that we lost against. Are you not proving my point?
  19. These are not complicated concepts. McVay is a genius for having his receivers run across the field at different depths. McDaniels is a genius for having his receivers already running when the ball is snapped. Belichick is a genius for double covering the opponent's best receiver. Like give me a break.
  20. Are you insinuating that our offensive game plan is 90% Diggs 1st read and Davis 2nd read and somehow defenses have caught onto that? One bad game against a good defense is not the same as 3 bad games against awful defenses.
  21. He is probably the best football player in the NFL. But he's also just a top 3 QB who plays like an average QB when he's not in the right head space.
  22. Yup. I really respect what Von has done in his career, but we paid an aging DE who doesn't care about containing the edge like he was in the prime of his career.
