  1. I don't think BurpleBull is going to pan out as a poster. Seems too moronic, with short attention span.
  2. UDFA Austin Rehkow (Idaho) is rated by many as the top punter in the draft. Wow!
  3. Major, yes indeed those are picks well spent! Some people are unable to see the value of spending multiple picks to get to a critical player. They pine for the player that traded pick could have become! Those extra picks should definitely be used as ammo when you need to target a particular player. I love what the Bills draft team are doing so far. I had not heard of Dawkins, because he was listed as a guard. Then to read his story was great. Here is the RT we have been dreaming about.
  4. That Tampa deal kind of sucks - Bills gain a 2nd rounder, but give up a 5th and lose 9 spots in the 3rd??? No way, that just seems like bad value.
  5. I really enjoyed seeing Marshawn on the Bear Grylls' Running Wild program. That was a very gutsy thing for Marshawn to do, since he could have been at home chillin' on the couch. On the show, he rappelled down mountains and such, and had to face some fears. Pretty cool stuff. I really like the guy, and hope he gets to play with the Raiders this year.
  6. No. I suppose we are stuck with him, being on the wall of fame already. But I do not think he should ever be recognized (invited for homecoming game, etc) by the organization. Perhaps when OJ dies, they can issue a statement of condolences, but I would hope they never reach out to recognize or support him in any way. Should they remove him from the wall of fame? No, I don't think so. But no further contact is necessary.
  7. Hey BillsMedia, you will find a boatload of this "sarcasm" here at TSW. One of the more useless posts is "Championship" whenever a low level player (or someone the poster has not heard of) is signed.
  8. ^This. The so-called "reporting" the OP speaks of is that sports version of fake news, some of which seems to come from guys that live in their parents' basement. It is the off-season, and people "report" all kinds of speculative rubbish. Just stop reading all that crap. I know Bills fans are hungry for news, but good God, make some better choices in what sports gossip you believe.
  9. I don't understand this "humiliation" reference. It sounds like you buy into all the Bills gossip as though it were gospel. The Rex hiring was bad. The Pegulas suffered from the NFL Owner learning curve, and bought the lies of a fast talking snake oil salesman. I think they have remedied that bad hire by hiring a guy like McDermott. Free agents will sign with the Bills, although there are limits in cap space. But all this humiliation talk makes no sense. There is so much "fake news" in the sports world, and particularly when the local newspaper has an adversarial relationship with the local sports team. This whole thread seems to be based on a non-issue.
  10. Absolutely refreshing! After that blowhard that just loved to hear himself talk, I love McDermott's demeanor. I think he will be a very good coach in the long term, not another 2-3 year washout guy.
  11. I think those flat brims make the person wearing it look kind of stupid. I mean, don't you bend the brim in a curve to make the hat fit better on your head?!? But then, I am a relative geezer, I suppose. It's hard to figure some things the current young generation likes.
  12. How has Patrick Lewis performed filling in for Wood? Did anyone observe late season games from an OL perspective?
  13. What a dick. There has to be a massive learning curve for new NFL owners. Especially with a business cycle of 12 months, you may have to take some lumps at first. Yes, they got bamboozled by a smooth talking loudmouth who talks a good game. Rather like a snake oil salesman, that old Rex. I am happy to see McDermott take over, and I believe we are now in good hands. Maybe you can change your handle to FireRex or FireAnthony or maybe even FireSean to keep up with the times? Oh well, enjoy yourself.
  14. I seem to recall that Coughlin was like a mentor to Marrone. They would get together every year to talk about about football, life, whatever. So, I don't think they would suddenly have any kind of adversarial relationship now.
  15. RIP Bruce. We'll try to remember only the good times...
  16. http://www.zetatalk.com/ning/03de2016.htm The Avro RJ85 crashed due to electro-magnetic pulse (EMP), endured as it crossed over the plate border between the S American Plate and the North Andes Plate. Some assign the North Andes Plate to the S American Plate, and others assign it to the Caribbean Plate, as it has rock attachments to both. Though this region has not had heavy EMP before, the S American Roll is on the move, with an aggressive uptick. Pilots would be wise to avoid this plate border if possible, as it is subject to pressure from more than one source, and thus is likely to be under almost constant EMP in the future.
  17. Too many Ns to be Negative Nancies, so perhaps it is Nattering Nabobs of Negativism. TMFA
  18. When Thurman steamrolls Tom Olivadotti down, Shula packs it in. Mario and Suh sittin' in a trench, too hot to work too damn hard
  19. Football just like war I know more than generals Ay-yay-ISIS too
  20. Live at The Don Jersey Generals back again un-pre-dic-ta-ble
  21. His GF says: hard work pays off. let's eat
  22. Why isn't the game on CBS? They are just showing highlights at commercial breaks of other shows.
  23. Hillary can't use her body double in this one, because she would have to field hard questions. The double only does smiling & waving events, and scripted speeches.
  24. The Factory of Sadness puts in a lot of overtime, trying to get rid of those top 5 draft picks. Could have had Watkins and Wentz over the last 3 years. Duh.
  25. More buffoonery from Rex. What an embarassment. This year, we've got Tweedle-Dee to go with our Tweedle-Dum. They're killing me, Whitey!
