  1. We already have Stefon Diggs, a very similar style player
  2. Their Oline appears to have gotten even worse so far this off-season.
  3. This is a thread largely for estimating what you think are the current rankings in the AFC. I realize this is still too early, buy hey what else do we have to do in these corona times? I got Chiefs- Super bowl winners with a mostly returning roster. Hard to put anyone ahead of them. Ravens- Will Lamar repeat last year's performance? Unlikely that it will be quite as good, but the Ravens have a very solid roster, and were the #1 team in the AFC last year. Bills- I think the Bills Defense improved slightly, and the offense has the potential to bust open with Diggs added. Could rise more depending on Allen, but could also be worse if the offense doesn't improve Titans- Will Tannehil repeat last year's performance over the course of a full season? Doubtful. However, I think the running game could keep him effective, and they have a strong defense. Steelers- Solid roster overall, were missing a reliable QB last year. Does Big Ben have a good year left in him? To be seen, but I wouldn't be surprised to see the Steelers in the 10-6/11-5 range Broncos- I think the Broncos may surprise some people. They were trending upwards by the end of the year, and may be moving back towards relevance. Texans- I think losing Hopkins will be a big blow to their offense, and not having any firsts will not help. I may not be giving Watson enough credit here, but I think the Texans are going downhill from last season. Pats*- The Pat's* still have a solid defense, and unless they start trading away players, I would be surprised to see them near the bottom. They still get to play the Jets and the Phins twice as well. Browns- Do the browns finally put all this talent together into something useful? Let me see a competent Oline first. I'll believe the Brown's success when I see it. Colts- The colts have a solid roster, but I don't think Phillip Rivers is going to be overly successful at that age. Raiders- I don't see anything better than 8-8 happening with this team. Nothing about it really impressed me. Chargers- Tyrod Taylor at Qb? I think we have seen enough to say that will never result in more than a single game playoff berth. Dolphins- I think that Phish will improve this season... To third in the division. I doubt their FA spending spree makes them suddenly great... Or good. Jets- I expect Darnold to get torn apart behind that O line (or lack there of) Jags- Do I even need to say anything here? Bengals- I don't expect Joe Burrow to have enough help to do much with this team. Who do ya got?
  4. What in an ideal world I would want added to our team 1b/2 Rb 3 Rb 4 Wr S depth Cb depth Lb depth Edge in draft Te OT
  5. When did that 6th go to a 4th? Also that cap space is before Klein, Matakevich, and Croom, so that number is likely closer to 41.
  6. Horrible take. Diggs has a higher floor than Watkins did, along with nearly a third of the cost.
  7. Oh I realize this completely, I'm not arguing for one nonsensical chart.
  8. If it is the value of the picks, then there clearly would be trades, as that is how markets work.
  9. And once again, NO ONE WOULD MAKE THAT TRADE. The value of those picks are around pick 18. If you think I'm wrong, try finding a trade that would be similar values.
  10. Well, I'm glad we grabbed Addison then, that price tag is quite hefty.
  11. That is just flat out wrong though. No one, and I mean NO ONE would take those picks for 8. To go from 22 to 8 it would probably take about 22, next year's first and a third, and that still might not be enough. Moving from 12 to 7 to get Josh Allen costed an additional 12 and 2 seconds.
  12. This trade instantly flips us from a bottom 10 Wr corps to a top 10 Wr corps.
  13. This graph isn't about the past. It's about how much teams have improved or gotten worse. If anything, that points to the graph being more accurate, as non-playoff teams tend to have more money to spend.
  14. We haven't really added anyone besides Josh Norman (who PFF does not like). We have lost Shaq Lawson, Kevin Johnson, and Jordan Phillips.
  15. I'd give a fourth (maybe toss in a 6th?) Then take a WR in the 2nd (unless one of the top 3 fall in the first, or there isn't good value there).
  16. This is a hilariously bad take. Shady was not the problem with those teams. Running back was a strong suit and our team was upgraded because of that deal. Trades can be good even if a team is bad.
  17. Correct me if I'm wrong, but with the new CBA and Dak getting the tag, Amari Cooper will be hitting free agency, no?
  18. Well one was Rams to the phins, I think due to cap, strong dl already, and maybe injury concerns, and then the phins were tanking this year.
  19. If we win the division, we get a home playoff game, at least in the current format. (Not 100% sure about the new format)
  20. Sign me up for this draft. 4 likely immediate contributors including a potential future #1Wr. Grabbed 2 weapons for Josh along with a little Defensive retoolment. 22: R1P22 WR CEEDEE LAMB OKLAHOMA 54: R2P22 S KYLE DUGGER LENOIR-RHYNE 86: R3P22 EDGE CURTIS WEAVER BOISE STATE 128: R4P22 RB ANTHONY MCFARLAND MARYLAND 155: R5P9 G MICHAEL ONWENU MICHIGAN 167: R5P21 LB CAM BROWN PENN STATE 188: R6P9 TE THADDEUS MOSS LSU 201: R6P22 OT YASIR DURANT MISSOURI 207: R6P28 CB STANFORD SAMUELS III FLORIDA STATE
